Ummmmmm, what?!?!?!? Downey only fights when the team needs it, and it is nessesary. It's why he's stayed with the Wings for so long.

I saw that. I like a guy who is smart as much as the next guy, but Downey needs to fight against the Ducks. He NEEDS to. He should challenge a bunch of guys who arent fighters IMO, go after Beauchemin and Pronger, and Niedermayer (Robb) and Perry, etc etc. Just to piss off the heavyweights, Drake needs to man up too. Where's the PAIN TRAIN, he got the name in a game against the Ducks late in the year last year.

Chris Gratton too! This seriously ******* blows though. God damnit Sammy, theres this thing called aim. Cleary IMO is the 4th most important player on this team, he does everything and he's girtty too. He isnt afraid to drop the mits if need be, he'll hit score goals, kill penalties, stand in front of the net on the powerplay. Kenny has to do 2 things now. Re-sign Cleary so he can actually get that career year next year, and get us some secondary scoring with GRIT.

Yeah, thats totally what we should do. If you get hurt, your gonna get traded! Detroits management arent a bunch of dicks, they wont trade Cleary because he got injured, this actually makes re-signing Danny a bit easier.

Moreau and Phaneuf have been going at each other alot this year, very entertaining stuff.

Cameron really surprised me this year, he was a so-so player the last couple of years, but really has an eye for the ice. Might be another steal for the Wings scouting staff, but it wont be a european, what a twist!
