Then go to Toronto and ask about Mats, he agrees to waive the no trade clause. Send them 1st round pick/Hudler/Ericcson/Andersson/Samuelson/Kopecky. Get some swedes give some swedes. - Sign McCarty, he gets 5-8 goals, 7-10 assists and 4 or 5 good scraps in his stint in GR, warranting a contract. - Ask LA about Blake, he'll waive the clause. Send them Meech/2nd/prospect for Blake. Zetteberg-Sundin-Holmstrom Filpula-Datsyuk-Cleary Maltby-Draper-McCarty Drake-Franzen-Downey Lidstrom-Blake Rafalski-Kronwall Chelios-Lebda/Lilja That package for Mats may be large, but it isnt as good as it looks, so it isnt really too much.

I'd take him for sure. Nashville wont trade him to Detroit though.

Seriously, I dont understand why people would want him. He's slower then Lilja and makes more mistakes, he's as physical as Schnieder and costs about as much as Rafalski. Plus, he takes way too many penalties, and I dont really like face washers and that's all he is. lol @ your playing like a pillow comment

Perry-Getzlaf-Bertuzzi Kunitz-Weight-Selanne Niedermayer-Pahlson-Moen May-Marchant-Sutherby Parros Niedermayer-Pronger Schnieder-Beauchemin O'Donnell-Huskins Giguere The only flaws I see would be Huskins and Giguere, and since Huskins TOI is low, no damage. And for some reason god only knows, Giguere plays great in the playoffs.

How did Staal win the MVP?? I didnt notice him at all tonight. Anyone else dislike Craig Simpson? He is really annoying. Jim Hughson and Greg Millen are good, but Simpson, I just cant stand the guys voice.

What a terrible way to end it, 20 seconds and they couldnt just let it go to OT? The game is for the fans afterall. Nash should win MVP, Tim Thomas is a nice guy. I'm not a huge fan of these games from a Wings fan perpective, none of our guys did anything tonight. I'm just glad I dont have to see it again till next year. (BTW, That car isnt even that nice.... )

How about the NHL uses there god damn millions of dollars and makes the all star game interesting. I watched the 1997 All Star game the other day and it was great, they had lights going everywhere, they had players that people cared about (No offence to Tim Thomas, or Corey Perry, but you arent all stars). And Matthew Barnaby had the best idea, PAY THE PLAYERS. Give every player on the winning team 100,000 dollars so they can spend time with there familys after the game. Oh, and as much as everyone hates him, Crosby needs to be in the All Star game, he just makes it better, same with Luongo and Broduer. We need THE REAL All Stars and the NHL to spend money on the game, then it'll be worth watching. If they dont, cancel it, it's the worst game to watch all year, like no one gives an effort at all. Same with the skills comp, that was a joke!

I'm glad we missed him. He's not physical, decent on the powerplay and good in the shootout. Not what we need.
