Pass. Kubina has been one of the worst defenceman for his salary in the last couple years. He isnt the same player who played for Tampa. I'd rather have McCabe, but the best bet, stay away from all the Leafs defenceman.

I kind of liked it... I mean, people always give the euros the "soft" stereotype, and Kovalchuk is the exact opposite. I really like him now that he's shown that he's a huge snipe and he's tough to boot. I dont want him to make a habit of throwing dirty hits, but I hope he conitnues to play tough.

I saw those proposals yesterday and just laughed. Kronwall and a 1st. Top 3 defenceman and a good prospect, nope. Michalek and a 1st. Top 6 winger with 30 goal potential and a good prospect, nope. Kesler and a 1st. Shutdown centerman, with 15-20 goal and 60 point potential, nope. I would love Sundin, but if that is what the outline for the deal would be, no thanks.

As good a coach as Babcock is (dont get me wrong, he will win the Jack Adams and all) but he doesnt handle enforcers well at all. He always tells his players to play tougher, but when he has a tough player, he only plays him in the 1st and 2nd. I dont get it.

I got my wish, Hnidy hit Begin who just came back from a shoulder injury, from behind, Kostopolous comes over and drops them with him, win Hnidy, but I like Kostopolous for standing up for Begin.

I love Boston/Montreal games Sergei Kostisyn threw a questionable hit on Krecji and Kobasew comes over and they have a go, win Kobasew, but good showing by Kostitsyn, hope theres more rough stuff.
