That was definately the worst period I've seen the boys play all year, and we STILL scored 2 goals. I know its going to fall on deaf ears, but we could use Downey way more then useless kopecky tonight. We need a spark, Filpula's goal was nice, but it's not gonna spark the team like a fight would. Ozzie wasnt bad, just really unlucky. Also, games against the Wild are the worst, they are so boring, they ruin it for me. I love watching the Wings, but when they play the Wild I just cant get into it at all. Nonetheless I hope we pound the s*** out of Backstrom in the 2nd.

It's a tie between my Red Wings black shirt, and my sweet Red Wings jogging pants, so sweet. I got them when I was in like Grade 5 and they fit lol.

I'm watching the Leafs/Ducks game and I think this might be a goon fest. Kubina threw a questionable check on Perry and Bertuzzi and O'Donnell came over and O'Donnell started pounding on him. Not really a fight because Kubina turtled. I thought it was kinda funny though during all that Tucker and Schnieder both have there gloves on and are just having a nice little talk.

Babs will win it, Padock will be nominated and then there leaves a spot. If the Yotes were to make the playoffs, he'd get the third nomination. Maybe even if they get more then 30 wins, coming into the seasone everyone thought they'd have like, 10 wins the whole year...

Even though I hated them as Avs, the defeceman I'd want to get would be Foote or Blake, which ever is the cheapest come trade deadline. Foote is one of the meanest, most sadistic f**ks in hockey, he will tear your face off for a cup, that's exactly what this team needs. Blake is one of the hardest hitters in the league and I think would be perfect on the blueline.

This season is a pretty good indicator for me. The fighting is way up, and sadly, so are the cheapshots. Another thing to look at, once the instigator rule is gone, there will be more fights, and since the players can police themselve, less cheapshots.

Haha, I thought you were going in a different direction with what you were saying, but you jsut think like I do. I do not like Phillys style of play because I see it as cheap and dirty instead of good and tough (Like Anaheim). I also agree with your last point, if Downie pulls this stuff in the playoffs, he's gonna get hurt. Bad.

Downie is the biggest douchebag in the league. You can say Tootoo, but I dont agree actually. He plays hard, hits hard, fights, has a bit of talent. I love Sean Avery, runs his mouth, backs it up and has pretty good skills. Downie has always thrown cheapshots, and played dirty hockey. I hate his guts, but I want him to stay in the league, only because I want to the Easts heavy weights pound the s*** out of him.
