The Flames were hooking and holding today too. The refs were fine. Instigator penaltys werent needed here. Phaneuf decked Hudler when it didnt matter anymore, Lilja challenged him to go and then they fought. No instigator nesscecary.

Good game. Lilja was great tonight, not just the fight but he played well. Datsyuk's best game of the season, and Ozzie strong again. Lightning on thursday will be good.

Yzerman, won more cups, has more points, and was and always will be the greatest captain in hockey (Apart from Messier). There is no comparison. If someone from Quebec tried to tell me Sakic was better, I may listen, but if someone from Denver does, I'd ignore them. People in Quebec shouldnt have lost that team, they know hockey, Denver, not so much. (Im sure there are many many fans of other teams in Denver, they are the smart ones!)

The Wings will re-sign Cleary. 4-5 years I'd say 1.5 to 1.8 million per year. He wont go to UFA, same with Lidstrom, the Wings will have those 2 locked up before seasons end.

Wings, Hawks make it from the Western O6 teams. Boston, Montreal or Toronto and Boston make it. Only one O6 team will miss IMO.

I see no reason why he couldnt blow them away, not like Samuelson or Hudler are very consitent either.

I never said I hated him, because I dont. The fact is he hasent played up to his potential this season.
