I phrased it wrong. Remeber when Lilja was getting scratched alot last year? Then he decided to hit and fight? Yeah well, I want that to happen again. I wouldnt be against calling up Ference, he's bigger and tougher then Lilja, former 1st rounder, we're good at turning them back into good players (See avatar )

When Kopecky starts getting scratched, when Babs finally gets tired of Lilja, and when Drake loses the face mask, they'll be getting in some fights.

Not much of a fight, but Tim Jackman and Rory Fitzpatrick just went, one big punch and they both went down.

I really liked him at the start of last season. Then he got injured and became useless. Maybe he's gonna start playing well again. See Lilja last year, that fight agaisnt Moen had me a fan in seconds . And since then he's become pretty useless. He's got 2 powerplay goals, and couple of PP assists. Other then ZDH, he and Hudler have been our best powerplay guys.

He's like a talentless version of Hudler. No reason to re-sign.

Pretty limited? He distributes the puck, he stands in front of the net, he shoots, he does it all. Kopecky is good at what he does, 4th line mucker.

I saw just reading about that actually. I hope Belak kills him, Instigator rule or not, Avery says one thing about Tucker, or Blake or anyone, Belak is gonna take his head off. And it wont just be Belak, for Seans well being, he better not play the Wild this season.

For his sake, he better never jaw at Chris Simon, or like you said, an "on ice incident" will end his career. But after hearing about what Avery said, that's a ******* disgrace. I like the guy, but making fun of Blake for having cancer? Bell, Tucker and Gill shouldve taken out Avery right then and there. The racial slurs, when he called Laraque a monkey? Laraque should've beat the s*** out of him for that one. I dont remeber the Theo Fleury one, but Im sure someone on the Rangers(or the Avs, whichever) couldve gotten Avery for that one.

So, I was watching the TSN show and they said Does Sundin belong in the Hall of Fame? Well, when it came Dregers turn to speak he said "He's got the numbers, and when he wins a cup with Detroit this year, it'll be a lock" Now, it could be Dreger throwing it out there, but he's an Insider and knows alot about the Leafs. I for one, would LOVE to get Sundin, and's size, grit, skill and leadership, it would cost a little bit. Premature, but it caught me as odd that he would bring it up.

Other then Sundin, Antropov and Ponikarovsky, so is the Leafs roster. Other then Kaberle, so does Toronto's defence. I dont agree Meech sucks, he's always been a good junoir player, AHL guy, and in the few games he's been in this season, he's looked good. Most of Toronto's prospects outside of Stralman and Tlusty, are unproven prospects, Ericsson gives them a future top 4 defenceman with size. Those draft picks would interest Toronto ALOT, JFJ gave up a 1st rounder for Toskala and Bell, Im sure he'd love to acquire another. There are 2 ways I look at this situation. 1.) John Ferguson Junior is an idiot that couldnt tell a good trade from a bad trade. 2.) Mat's may see roster player, 2 prospects and a 1st round pick as fair value and tell JFJ to take that deal. You never know. I think a safer bet would be Modano and Ryder IMO. Modano would probably take a 3rd rounder and a prospect/farmer (Not a good one mind you) and Ryder would probably cost a Hudler/Filpula and a prospect. Ryder would probably re-sign with us, and even if Modano didnt, he'd be one hell of a playoff pick-up, considering his leadership and faceoffs. He may not be the player he once was, but he's still good enough to ancore our 2nd line.

1st round pick, Jiri Hudler, Meech/Ericsson, 2nd round pick seems reasonable to me.

I'd like to say we come back in the third, but the Wings have obviously decided the Hawks arent good enough to play against. 3-1 will be the final score, everyone will jump all over Osgood, hope on the Kopecky bandwagon, and get all over Datsyuk for not scoring. What a week this is gonna be!
