We are the best team in the league. ZDH is dominate, Samuelson is actually a good player, I've recognized, I was wrong about him. Filpula and Hudler are playing good. Danny, Maltby and Draper always play well. Drake, Ellis and Downey are some of my favorite guys on this team, espicially Downey. Franzen is another guy who adds size, grit and some scoring presence. The defence is great, Lidstrom is Lidstrom, Rafalski is sick, Kronwall is good, Lilja is a huge guy who plays tough, Chelios is Chelios, Lebda is fast and Meech is pretty good too. No complaints. The goaltending is great, Hasek and Osgood are the best goaltending tandem in the league (better then Ottawas and you know it) Love the team right now. Oh, and before I forget, give credit to Babs, he's a fantastic coach.

I dont really know him, he was travelling with the Wings at the Flames game, and afterwards in the autograph session thing, he was standing there so i went over and started to talk to him. And thats when we got into talking about if he'd ever play again.

From the conversation I had with Jiri yesterday, it sounded like he really wanted to come back. He's trying his best to come back, I believe he'll come back, maybe not this year, but he'll play again.

WOOOOOO! What a game tonight! It was great to see the Wings win, and Danny scored! Zetterberg played awesome too. Christopher John Osgood is my favorite goalie, I love him, fantastic game tonight. After the game we went to get autographs, We went in there, and were waiting for the Wings to come up, when I spotted FISCHER!!!!!! He was there for Heart and Stroke foundation. Me, my buddy, my dad and my little sister went over and got autographs but had a nice conversation with him. I said it was great to see him and he was a great player, he started saying it was nice to see all the fans here. My Dad asked him if he was gonna play again and he said he's very optomistic and we all said we'd love to have him back. Meech was the first guy up, I got his autograph and we told him good job and keep playing well. Then Drake came up, he wasent in a good mood, but my sister got him to sign her jersey. Then DANNY!!! came up, we went right to him, asked him for autographs said fantastic goal buddy, my sister told him we were from Newfoundland too and he smiled and said it was cool to meet some newfies. Then we were waiting, when this women behind us said "I wonder who that guy over there is" I thought at first it was Maltby, but he turned his head and it was Aaron Downey!! We went over, he signed my little sisters jersey, and we had a good chat with him too. When he was signing my program I said "Nice fights Aaron, keep it up" He said thanks, then my Dad said "It's nice to have you Aaron, your helping our team, keep going out and pounding people" He said As soon as I get back in im going to be giving them all some Shake and Bake, I thought it was funny Then we were waiting again and OZZIE comes up, we rush right over and get his autograph, He, Drake and Meech had family all there so we couldnt talk to them alot. Babcock came up and we got his autograph too. It was a great night, I had alot of fun and it was great talking to Danny, and Fischer and Downey, there all nice guys. And finally before we left, we said bye to Cleary and my dad said "Get a ring on your finger this year Danny" and He said I'll do my best too. GO WINGS GO!

Exactly. Having 3 forwards and 2 d-men making more then 6 million dollars, your gonna have alot of problems. Instead you could go after guys you mentioned and have good depth and still be very competive.

I think Holland should take a page out of Charles Wongs book, and give Zetterberg like an 8 year deal or something. I would keep him around for that long, Kid's fantastic.
