Im part of that minority too Hank. I love the way the Wings have drafted throughout there history, but it's not like guys like Milan Lucic and Jared Boll are first rounders or anything, I want guys like that in our organization. And on the subject of Lucic, I love how he plays, he's everything I like in a hockey player, big, tough, can score goals and can chuck the knuckles. Boston got a steal with him in the 2nd round, as for Boll, I like him too, he was a later pick, but he can throw his fists and is a great defensive forward (as is Lucic).

That was actually a pretty good post about Downey until you brought up the giveaways, I watched the whole game, he didnt have any ... On most teams he wouldnt be, Babs obviously likes him, and if he does, that's fine, he is the coach, he knows what he's doing, but that doesnt make Sammy a good player. He hasent done anything wrong tonight, so I'll say he's played well. Filpula has been alright in the defensive and neutral zones, but I think he's lost his offense touch, he needs a confidence boost. Kopecky though, invisable.
