Well, think about what you just said. I know your being sarcastic, but they got injured, while Downey either wasent playing, or was on the bench. Maybe if he and Drake got more then 5 shifts combined per game, players wouldnt constantly take libertys with our team. You cant enjoy having our 2 best players injured? The only thing that would cut down the amount of injuries would be an enforcer. Anyways, Franzen, Sammy, Z and Lidstrom. We ARE in trouble.

Im sorry, I would love to have Doan here, but not for Kronwall. Hudler/Sammy pick, if we give up Kronwall our defence gets very thin, Kindl cannot handle the NHL right now, Quinceys injured and Meech isnt very good, add in the fact that Lilja would play more minutes. Not a good scenario.

Z and D played with Danny on the PP last night for a couple shifts, they looked alright. I do believe that if Lang can make Danny a 20 goal scorer, Zetterberg and Datsyuk can make him a 30 goal scorer. Instead of this, I'd rather go out and get the guy in my avatar for some scoring, easier said then done, I know, but he's probably the most available guy on Montreal at this point, we could even get a guy like Begin/Dandenault in that deal. Just an idea. Hopefully Franzen gets better soon, we could use some scoring and a big body.

He doesnt deserve a shot right now. He was terrible in training camp, pre-season and now in GR. We'll have to wait till next year for him, or at least we should. If he was brought up here, he'd do the exact same things. The last thing we need is our top prospect to have no confidence and stuck in Russia.

I cannot believe what I just saw. Andrew Raycroft played amazing tonight, robbed the sabres all night long. Brian McCabe and Pavel Kubina have got to be the most stupid defenceman in the league, they cost the Leafs tonight, I feel terrible for Leafs fans, having these bums on there team. Im pissed, because Raycroft played so well, and then McCabe scores on his own team JFJ is a terrible GM, he NEEDS to get rid of these bums. Also, Carlo Coliacovo really needs to get back, if not, this will be another playoffless year for the leafs.

What I wouldnt give to play for the Wings man. But to be realistic here, the Wings need to inquire to some GM's about goal scoring wingers. Jp Dumont and Micheal Ryder are the guys I'd want, Dumont probably wouldnt be avaiable to us, as trading within your division to make the better team even better wouldnt be very smart. So, Ryder, get on the phones Kenny, an extra 30 goals couldnt hurt. As for defence, the UFA option would of course be Markov, but if I was looking to trade, a guy like Aaron Ward would be worth looking at, he's much better then Lilja and is a tough customer, I've always liked him so I may be a bit biased in putting him in as trade option , but he could help. As for the goaltending, it'll be fine. Ozzie is back, and Dom just needs a couple more games to get his groove back.

Hudler already is trade bait, as are Sammy and Lilja, its the only assets we have to move. And I have no problem with them leaving as long as we get some scoring and some defence.

Yeah, Gill is a good PKer. I was thinking about a possible Markov return to TO? They gotta get rid of Kubina by either sending him down, waiving or trading. Markov would bring some speed and grit to there line-up. Plus, for once I'd like to see the Leafs have a decent looking defence.

I've been thinking, why not call up Howard to play San Jose? we always play like s*** agaisnt them in there building, it'd suck to to have Hasek and Osgood lose there confidence by giving up 9+ goals on thursday. Jimmy deserves his shot. Howard and Meech should play. Kopecky and Lilja shouldnt be playing, maybe call up Gelech or Mcgrath for some scoring? I dunno, but we need a 2nd line

They need Colaiacovo, he was one of there best defenceman last season. Kaberle-Stralman McCabe-Colaiacovo (They played well last season) Gill-White Wozzy Send down Kubina, They need to trade McCabe, but until thats done, pair him with Carlo.

Kopecky has a better shot at being our answer then Grigs at this point. If you cant get points in the AHL playing with guys like Evan Mcgrath and Ryan Oulahan, you shouldnt be in the NHL.
