I dunno Lou, Drake is surprising me. Fighting these young guys, and he seems to be holding his own or winning in the fights. I probably wouldnt want to see him go with Koci because he'd get beat up, but I think he'd be crazy enough too.

We had someone who would fight him, but he wasent playing. Drake had already fought and Lilja's fighting skills dont kick in till late in the season.

Maltby and Cleary played well, Lebda and Kopecky just didnt play alot. Sammy played terrible tonight.

Datsyuk and Zetterberg are superstar danglers in games, WHY CANT THEY DO IT IN THE SHOOTOUT? I just dont get it. We need to shake things up a bit, use Filpula, Cleary and Franzen/Kopecky more.

The point of him being on the line is to make him respondsible defensively and a hard worker. He'll get his time on the top lines throughout the season. I certainly wouldnt mind playing with guys like Cleary and Draper.

In a scenario that Franzen is out for a lenght of time. The lines would probably be Hudler-Zetterberg-Sammy Filpula-Datsyuk-Homer Maltby-Draper-Cleary Downey-Kopecky-Drake Which is still a very nice line-up. But hopefully Franzen is fine

Those are probably the best enforcers who can play in the game. With either one were a much tougher club. Were tougher with a Laraque or Neil then the way we played in the playoffs. Or my solution, have a bit of both. Having a tough guy makes other softer guys play tougher. Examples are Andy McDonald and Chris Kunitz who are pussys, but having a Parros or Moen and a Pronger or an O'donnell makes you play tougher because you know someones got your back. Thats the reason Maltby was so good for so long, he knew he could count on McCarty when it came to the rougher stuff.
