The Yotes are a pretty tough bunch, just have no skill other then Doan and Mueller. Im just saying I'd like Grigs and Danny to drop the mits in those situations, wouldnt you? -

I'd feel a lot better about this game if Grossman was starting, Griese is a decent QB who doesnt fumble the ball alot. I still say we win, but more like 31-24.

I'd take him even for that price. We have loads of room and could use an extra d-man with some size. Doesnt hurt that he's one of my favorite players either

Wings win 7-1. That defence is brutal and Toskala hasent been great. Danny plays so great that he gets bumped up to Z's line for the start of the season. -

I was watching on CBC the Kings/Ducks game, and they were talking about young captains in the NHL. Cassie Campbell brings up that Marty Lapointe said "Toews should be our guy", and also said he'd be the best choice for captain. Now, I like Toews as much as the next guy, but to name him captain this young, wouldnt be great for his career. It was only something Cassie brought up, but I really dont see the Hawks doing this. Thoughts?

Until I see some real statement from the Wings saying he's done, I believe he's making this team. These are just blogs, Kenny knows he needs someone, and Hartigan and Ellis arent it. I LOVE Matt Ellis, but he does not serve a need on the Wings right now. Downey does, he can throw his body around and fight. From everything I've read, it seems like Babs likes him. Like I said, until I see a statement from the Wings management, I believe!

I think I'd rather deal Hudler for Rolston. I think Filpula has alot of potential, Hudler isnt real special, and I think if Minny asked for Hudler+3rd+meech for Rolston, Holland would take that in an instant.
