Thats your opinon. I'd take any enforcer for 450k , a guy like D-mac has the ability to be the player he used to be if he comes back to Detroit. I wouldnt be surprised if we invited him to Training camp.

He's looking for 2-3 million from what I've heard. He's prone to making mistakes in the defensive zones , and fits the bill of "big dumb defenceman". Avs fans wanted him gone for a reason

It also says were interested in Niinama and Ekman , so I wouldnt beleive it. I would take Mac back though, even as a 14th forward.

Me too , but Im not sure he's a 4million dollar defenceman. But if thats what Markov and Sutton want , that doesnt make his contract look too bad.

This aint the playoffs though, there better together then apart. Who needs a 2nd line when your top line is Z-D-H , they all can score 30+ goals if there healthy and alot of points.

Wouldve been nice , but Kenny wanted a yr 1 deal with whatever defenceman he was going to sign. Add in the hockey world thought Markov was injury prone last year and he didnt want to risk a long term deal. For 2.5 I would bring him back. I really hope he drops his demands

Cleary-Datsyuk-Holmstrom Franzen-Zetterberg-Hudler Sammy-Filpula-Grigerenko Maltby-Draper-Drake Not totally bad , Zetterberg and Datsyuk should be together. Nither will have Crosby like seasons unless there with each other.

Some guys I wouldnt mind on the wings, Ryder, Hunter, Avery, Kelly. Defenceman , Exelby, Montador , Foster. The price ranges wouldnt be too bad for some of these guys , we definately have room for 1 or 2 of them. Plus there better then whats left on the FA market. Edit: Theres a couple of guys on the list who have already been re-signed (Gratton, Armstron,Ribeiro etc.)

Theres a couple good fighters not on the list that I'd take on the wings anyday. Jamal Mayers - Was hoping for him at the past deadline , guess Kenny doesnt like him like I do. Darcy Hordichuk - Big , tough and mean. Pretty good fighter Travis Moen - Best checking line fighter in the league IMO George Parros - Beast with a stache Ryane Clowe - Had 19 goals last season and alot of good fights , I'd give alot to see him on the wings , easily a top 6 forward Eric Cairns - Not totally a caveman on skates , tough , a leader and a damn good fighter Ian Lapererierre - can score 20 goals , a smaller , older version of Clowe really. Just to name a few

Most coveted? Laraque or Neil Best Fighter? Grats for sure , he's alot of fun to watch , I'd love him on the wings
