Mara and Rosival are the Rangers best defenceman. Malik is just a big dumb defenceman, He really cost the Rangers in the playoffs this year with his turnovers in the defensive zone. Tyutin could be good and Giradi's pretty good. Strudwick is a good vet , If Malik used his size a little bit more, and stoped his constant turnovers he'd be pretty good too.

Heaton pointed it out in some thread , Meech is eligible to be sent down still. So I'd imagine Quincey will be the 7th defenceman and will get a handfull of games next season.

I liked alot of our teams bakc in the day 1991-2002 lol. As for back in the day it went Probert , Yzerman , Ysebaert , Chiasson , and Carson. Never really liked the goalies till we got Osgood and Vernon in 97.

Im with you on that one Barrie. Letting him retire a wing for no money cant be a bad idea. Plus if we happen to get the injury bug late in the season next year , we'll have Kopecky and Mac ready to come in.

Lebda will get more games. Quincey will play agaisnt teams like San Jose and Anaheim. They should both be good this season though.

I wouldnt mind if we invited him to training camp to see if he could still play. I dont know , but I just feel if he came back to his favorite team with his best friends , he might play better. But that could just be wishful thinking.

Yashin as a player , wouldnt be horrible. But what he brings with him is something I dont want. His reputation speaks for itself. He sat out a season because of contract negotiations? Plus his whole 10 year deal with NYI and how much money he needs to have. Not only do I not want him here , but it doesnt seem likely he'd come here anyway. Its been rumored he wants 2-3 years at 3.5-4 million. Kenny wont give him that kinda of term/money.

Dislike isnt exactly the term I'd use I just dont want him or his baggage on this team, if were gonna take an over the hill greedy player , why not Fedorov and wait till the deadline? Its a better option IMO.

If they both tried there hardest every night, and never gave a lazy shift. I think Lang would be the better player. Yashin for 1 million or less and a 2-way contract wouldnt be horrible , he'd be great for GR.

No thanks to Yashin. I'd rather have Franzen and Filpula play in bigger rolse then bring that bum on this team. If were getting a vet , its gonna be Lindros or Forsberg. Which I'd only take if they were cheap.
