Detroit # 1 Fan

Still , Kronwall does fan on alot of shots/passes , hes very injury prone and people are making him out to be this superstar , when really at this point in his career hes a top 4 defenceman at best. He could get better as he hasent even played a full season and hes 25. Heres hoping he plays 70+ games next season and develops more physically.

It doesnt matter , we have to trade for a forward. If we start talking to a UFA , Brian Burke will steal him away anyway.

Theres only one thing Schnieder has on Rafalski and thats his shot. But Rafalski's defensive play more then makes up for that. Also , with Niedermayer probably retiring this summer , The Norris candidates will be Rafalski , Lidstrom and Pronger.

Hmm , lets do the math here. Hudler 25-30 goals , Samuelsson 10-20 goals , Yashin 10-15 goals. So more like 65 goals. Yashin probably would get 40-50 points , maybe 60. Hudler could get 50. Sammy would more then likely get 40. So more like 140. Plus , Sammy and Yashin are lazy , and Hudlers not the best skater. It may have size , but Yashin nor Sammy check near enough as the should. Other teams would probably have a good laugh before games if thats a line thye had to play agaisnt.

I know they were terrible back then but still. In other years when the Sens werent terrible , or when the Isles werent terrible he still had -10 and -9 seasons. You dont honestly want Yashin on this team do you?

I've never really liked Liljas play , Kronwall has better hockey sense and thats saying something. But he picked it up in the playoffs and he isnt afraid of the roughstuff , which is nice. I'd rather Lebda's speed as he enters the zone then Liljas. It was one of our biggest problems agaisnt Anaheim. It really doesnt matter because Markovs not coming back and both are going to play.

Plus , he pulls the disappearing act in the playoffs. 7 shots against the "amazing" defence of Buffalo? Please. The first season he wasent bad , but his defensive stats were s***.

Obviosly Im overreacting a little bit , but I just dont want Yashin to ever come to Detroit, I'll take the team as it is over it with Yashin.

Also , this quote in the detroit news better not be from the wings organzation. "The Wings don't want to pay him more than $4 million." Umm , I wouldnt pay him anymore then 955,000$. So's Lang Loo Im telling you right now , before the end of october if Yashin is signed , every wings fan in the world will hate him. He's not only lazy , but hes a terrible player. People say hes got talent , hes got size , but he doesnt use it. The one thing EVERYONE is overlooking , Ted Nolan couldnt make him actually try, If Nolan cant get him too , no one can. Clark , sure he'd probably be cheapish Hossa , would cost way too much Commodore , would be a great option Ward , Same as Commodore Guerin , I'll pass Rolston , I doubt Minnesota would trade him Cooke , Would stop my bitching about grit Legwand , Nashville would probably want alot Hagman , Nah Barnes , Maybe Lapointe , sure but half the people on the board wouldnt Hatcher , Dumont , for sure There are some good options at the deadline this year I must say! Alot of them could be great additions to the wings.

True. However Shawn Thornton was dressed in almost all the games during the playoffs and all he can do is fight. The Senators also had Chris Neil , who can play and is a great scrapper. Im not saying you need one , by the facts say otherwise
