Im aware they made no difference. I know Rafalski is better , I was hoping we'd sign him. But Samuelson on the top line is horrible and you know it. Franzen isnt as bad because hes huge and showed he can score some goals. Still wouldnt mind Kenny signing another top 6 forward and a couple gritty guys like May or Fedoruk.

Theres being ok stats wise , which we are. 16 games agasint Chicago and Columbus are gonna be toast. We are not safe in the sense , People are gonna go after Zetterberg and Datsyuk. Who do we have to protect them? Chelios can throw a cheapshot or 2 , thats about it. If Kenny wants to prove me wrong , he'll trade for a big top 6 winger. And sign Brad May , and Fedoruk/Asham/McCarty. I dont want anyone taking libertys with our stars. We need them to be healthy.

I find it funny people want Kozlov. Hes small , and hasent scored a playoff point since 00-01. Add in he wants 4 million and he is NOT what we need

Those lines are terrible, no offence. Samuelson and Franzen should not be in our top 6. We've gotten so much weaker over the past 2 days. Were in huge trouble. And now Kennys gonna wait a while longer. Well , we have another season of Zetterberg and Datsyuk getting cheapshotted by goons on other teams, We have no grit.

He also had "untapped" scoring ability back in 1997 and it never panned out. Zubrus is crap , let him go to the Leafs -
Thats a good example as Ozzie is the most loyal wing. But they did what was best for the team , why let Ozzie rot behind Dom back then when Ozzie was a quality starter.

Loyalty is a meer memory. In the new NHL is about the $$$ or no chance. Home town discounts are now 6 million dollars. I still wish players would drop there greedy agents and negociate themselves and not take up 1/3 of the cap with there salary. I really wish McCarty could turn back in to the McCarty of old and come back. Hell , theres not much left on the FA market , I'd take Shanny back in an instant.

Its certainly isnt as bad as people thought it was. Hes better then Gomez and Briere , the only reason I'd want Drury is hes tough as nails and is a playoff monster

They have room. Good for Souray , go to a team that has a good chance to win next year. I wouldnt mind Shanny back , but hes staying in New York , they have loads of room. There defence core is dirt cheap , and Washington is paying for Jaromir
