Its seems like we have no north american prospects in our system. When are we gonna sign emmerton and Helm and get those guys into the minors getting groomed for the wings. Helm is going to be too old to play in the 'W next year , and Emmertons stuck on the Kingston Frontenacs , I'd love to see these guys come up to the bigs. Anyways , Hopefully he does something good in the minors , I miss our 05/06 Grand Rapids team , Flip , Hudler , Bootland , Koepcky , Macdonald and Macintryre. I liked all of those guys ! Now I know we have Ellis , Bootland and Mcgrath and Howard. Not exactly superstars

Too much IMO , His Salary is only a mil or 2 away from Niedermayers and Lidstroms contracts. Hes not that kind of defenceman.

Last fighter we had in the system was McCarty , and back then he was like a better version of Neil. I remeber his first game the pre-season of 94 when we were facing Chicago , and he fought like everyone that was within his range. Anyways , I wish we had offered Chicago a 4th for Moen , thats all aniheim gave up for him. what a sweet line Asham-Filpula-Moen would be

Does this seem like the finals to you guys ? It didnt for me , felt more like a regular season game. Even last years final had me into it more. (Probably because of Smyth and Smith but thats a different story) I do like most players on each teams , just a weird match-up for the finals.

I wouldnt call them fighters exactly , But after watching these playoffs. I'd love to have Travis Moen and Rob Niedermayer on the wings

Everyone I know is cheering for the Sens. After everything Prongers done , I'll never cheer for him. I might cheer for him if he plays for team canada, and thats just a maybe. Go Sens Go. I have never liked the ducks , 1997-Now , I've always hated them , Plus I've always dispised(sp) Shawn Thorton , biggest disgrace to hockey since Claude Lemeiux.

I'd like to agree with you , but I just cant. Kronwall wouldnt have even done that , with Kronwall , the puck tends to roll off his stick , so if the situation happened again with Kronwall , It'd roll of his stick and Lebda could pick it up.(Just as an example) Other then that giveaway , he was great , But I have a feeling hes gonna be a Fernado Pisani, Good in the playoffs , but be under par next season. I do agree the game shouldnt have gone into OT , Franzen should've cleared that puck.

Ozzies always let in softies , But the way he comes back after them are amazing. The Langenbrunner one during the Dallas series stands out the most. He shut them out next game , his mental toughness in the 98 playoffs was great.

Thats true. But I want Kindl to stay in junoirs because I hate how many Junoir stars there already losing. Hes only 19 , he has lots of time to Develop into a great defenceman , On the wings , on GR or with his junoir team.

Man , If only there were no salary cap. We could sign our 2nd line. It'd be Smyth-Drury-Bertuzzi. That'd be sweet. But Bert definately has to come back , for like 3 years

I really hope he does want to come here ! And Nostalgia doesnt win cups , it wins fans. I mean , People loved Kocur , McCarty , Fedorov , Murphy , Brown , Jamie Mccoun in 98. Jeez even Brent Gilchirst. And now we got Lilja and Cleary as guys who are fan favorites. And other then Gilchrist , I liked all those players !
