I like it as a Wings fan. But as a Canadian hockey fan it'll suck a bit, if it's not the best of the best playing I honestly wouldn't watch. Especially because that season the NHL won't go to break. I think for sure the NHL will run into problems with players wanting to represent their countries, gonna be interesting. -

Man without Stamkos and Fil, the Bolts look mighty thin up front. We should get 2 points tonight, hope the Wings don't take them lightly. -

I wouldn't trade Tatar, Nyquist, Jurco or Mantha in any sort of deal for Edler. The guys game is going in the wrong direction, I get that he's a Swede, and played well 2 years ago. For 5 million, I'd need a little more of "what have you done for me lately", and I get that the Nucks are banged up and he hasn't clicked with Torts, but you cannot hide from a -22. Especially when he's only played 40 games. -
Andersson was a surprise last season, but this season whatever line he's been on seems to play poorly most nights. I get that he's decent on the draws and a pretty good PKer. We have lots of PKers, and the dude is just super slow. He probably has the inside track on Glendening, but I don't see in the lineup much after the break with Weiss and Franzen back.

Lashoff was +2 tonight, he deserved it. Dude gets a lot of unwarranted minuses because of his partners.
