this team is supposed to be playing a "puck-posession" style game and i've noticed that when we have lots of give-aways or sloppy/missed passes the wings game seems to crumble.Also,i've noticed this inability to clear the puck from our zone sometimes allowing almost power-play ice time in our zone from our opponent...i get frightened now when it's in our end for any length of time,the wings seem to get flustered and next thing you know the pucks in the back of the net..

i'm noticing that a lot of helmets are staying on,not getting tossed before the fight,some of these guys are going and they got their eye-shields on...

why was the sign in english if it was a game in sweden?

i really dont think he added much to our team when he was here...and since that the only time you hear about him is not when he's doing something on the ice,it's when he's beaking off about some thing...sometimes i find his comments hilarious..other times he just sounds like a moron...but i dig the fact that he ie one of the the players in the nhl that he goes on about promoting...here i am !!and yeah i'm an ******* ..screw you...kind of like how they promote wwf..i really think he's on to some thing....villians and heroes...you have to admit,for a guy that adds so little to the score sheet,,sure is in the press a lot!!!and thats good for the nhl as far as i'm concerned.....never met the man,but i'm pretty sure i would'nt want to hang out with him..

i will give joe elliot the benefit of the doubt (being he's a brit and probably a soccer fan who's never watched an nhl game in his life) that he honestly screwed up or was making a feeble attempt at humor...but if i ever find out that he did this on purpose,just to screw with nhl fans..i'll...i'll...gee,i dont know what i'll do....but you get the point.....lets send d-mac over to the u.k. to have an attitude adjustment conversation with joe!!!

brodeur is always exciting to watch though...stellar goaltending maybe makes for lower-scoring (boring) games???

it's just so comforting to know,that if you do have some players go down to injuries etc..this orginization is so deep that we have players like helm waiting in the wings (excuse the pun)..on that note,i would like to see more of him this year for sure...

this is so typical of the "experts" wanking off on crosby and still too much expectations for phaneuf...how is it that the wings players year after year show such prominence and prove this...yet the so called "experts " are so wrong every time...i didnt even hear franzens name mentioned when they werer talking about most improved player...flash i the pan??? 4 goals in the pre-season...i think the experts are in 4 a rude awakening....

it seems that franzen has learned so much from homer...and we can only hope that he can continue his power-forward type play as well as adding in the homer-style front of the net play...garbage goals are still goals...right???

i liked having downey around,but if he's used so little i dont see the need to keep him...cheli is still fit and talented,if a little long in the tooth...mc carty might have had his swan song with this stanley..i dont see him as useful as he used to be..keep quincey for sure...

possibly the best ozzie article i've seen this year...a sportswriter,admitting he was wrong .....almost surreal...

got that photo framed and autographed by bobby for my b-day last year...killer. flipper was playing great tonight...that goal showed some real effort on his part...unlike the effort shown by the pens...funny how all the sportscasters were going on and f'kn on about how wings dont have the depth of scoring that pens do...almost ALL the scoring against them is from our second line down!!!!!
