It was gonna be about tall physical strikers and route one football, but noone would have understood it and would have just made some remark about it being a sport for diving and soft players (quite ironic actually considering the wings)

Not to mention a forum where they can talk about how detroit has no need to follow hockey traditions and that its every other team thats wrong whilst ignoring the fact the year we get tough is the year we finally win a cup, and pray that more Hudlers, Samuelssons and Kopeckys are up and coming to take 3rd and 4th line spots with their zero physical presence creating an unbalanced and therefore unsuccessful hockey team.

Exactly. We all watch sport to be entertained. If you're not entertained watching hockey fights...then I guess you're watching the wrong sport. Bit like watching Baseball and hate it when they score home-runs.

He would. if he can get 3 points playing 4 minutes a night on the 4th line... Playing on the 1st line would multiply that by 4 for 12 points. This would also increase his TOI to..15 minutes maybe...which is almost a 4 times increase...so multiplied by 4 again means he would 48 points. Because Downey got 3 assists in his 3 points it means 3 assists for every goal so he would score 16 goals. Not bad eh?

Yeh. Remember that one time we lost? Downey wasnt playing. Same with that other time... The times we won when Downey wasnt in the line up was cos someone else got into a fight and spurred on the team.
