Im sure all of us, and all of the players would have been happy to see an enforcer pound Pronger into the ice. For that reason alone we should have one, firstly because fights are good to watch, and secondly theres nothing better than seeing hockey player I dispise getting a good beating? Claude Lemiuex anyone?

Erm... all he basically did for us was fight (5 of them) then get injured and stayed in Grand Rapids... fighting.

Not sure whether this has been discussed in detail yet if it has I apologise cos Im not a regular here Im really hoping we take our playoff grit and toughness into the regular season as Im tired as f*** watching possesion, eurowing, turn-the-other-cheek crap. Im a huge fan of old skool hockey, heck its why I became interested in the NHL in the first place! (people couldnt care about Ice Hockey any less over here). I know we'll never have any enforcer type players with all the "the powerplay is our enforcer" etc. being said but I was sure chuffed to see the grit and huge step up in toughness we showed in the playoffs, and it actually made me think we wernt the softest team in the league... Thing is, whether we're going to keep the upped physical player up in the regular season, or whether perhaps it was just for the playoffs. Im glad we're playing the Mighty Disneys first because playing the most physical team in the league will be a good benchmark to raise up to, or at least compare to. Im not expecting as much in the pre-season in terms of a clue in how we'll perfrom in the regular season, but this is again something I cant wait for. So I guess Im asking whether you think or too wish that we take our upped physical game from the playoffs into the regular season, and finally be able to get that "Pussiest Team" monkey off our backs.

Is it 5? Also yeh I agree the first option is a bit of a no brainer, because it involves actually playing ice hockey not just ice skating. Bit of a stupid thing to say.

Lilja's the man. He brings a little bit of toughness to the team, and he drops the gloves. I may sound fight orientated but I believe we have enough skill on the team and we need balencing out with some toughness. Lilja is our tough guy. Hes the Pain Train remember

£20m Fernando Torres... we're improving! Heres to another 3rd place finish and mainly cup-orientated season for Liverpool! At least we wont finish 3rd by such a long margin I hope. Also get Tevez the f*** out of the EPL, or get rid of the 3rd party who owns him.

It would be like when Liverpool re-signed legend Robbie Fowler for one last season at Anfield as a sentimental gesture. He wasnt as good as he was, nor was he as good as other squad players, but he still got alot of games and scored goals. My point being, apart from the fact Liverpool FC rule, a sentimental signing can be good sometimes... EPL teams dont have salary caps or anything like that though... Ive gone a little off subject

Basically hes saying that our toughness comes from two players. One of who is ancient and another one who has yet to impress. Wow amazing. That article is stupid. You cant get rid of fighting because of players getting injured. If players dont want to risk getting injured, then they dont fight. Grrr Im all angry. I still hate Bettman.

Nahh. Bettman will never get rid of it. Hes convinced the oh-so important American market is against violence in all forms... when its not. Don Cherry gave the nhl a blast of words, but Bettman is a stuborn ass-hole. If Bettman had his way, Hockey would be a no-contact sport and every American city would have a team.

Fernando Torres is also about to sign for Liverpool from Athletico Madrid for £26.5m or $53m. All sorts of Torres' are on the move.

Personally if hes re-signed, and I hope and am sure he will be, I want to see him be a tough physical power forward, who uses his size and will stick up for team-mates and to drop the gloves if needed. Basically I hope he'll be the physical presence we've lacked this past season.

Maybe Im getting too excited about Bertuzzi coming back. I havnt been this excited since I saw Lilja had another fighting major against Sharp
