Between $1m and $1.5m is what Ive just read. Kenny really wants his ally in the war against fighting in his building and is prepared to give up a younger guy or two as well as our ability to find a solid 3rd pairing dman. Awesome.

Owens is the only one out of that lot which will be back. Crosty has been replaced today by Greg Amadio. One of the worst fighters in the AHL. He's massive. He fights alot (26 fights last season) but he SUCKS at fighting. He hugs, he grapples, he always loses. Crosty was a very good fighter. Shame they decided to go with Amadio instead.

John Scott is a pure goon. 1 goal and 1 assist in 51 games. Only a -3 though, and hardly ever took bad penalties. I'd love Konopka. Tough, young defensively sound enforcer whos damn good at faceoffs. Sadly, like last year, it looks like we're gonna wait until we can scrape the bottom of the barrel for someone not really up to what we need (see Brad May last year).
