I'd like that spot on the 4th line to be filled with an enforcer. Archibald and Cord I hope do enough in camp to earn a contract and get a place on the GR roster. If that happens, then I think we'll be tough enough to succeed in the AHL. We still need that UFA veteran scorer on the 1st line though. Not too sure what the defensive pairings will end up like. Anyones guess. Im hoping Janik will stay up with Detroit. Goaltending HAS to be better this season.

Nope. Way past his best. Plus, he's a classless thug which gives enforcers a bad name. He's handed the only beatdown (during the lockout) that was so violent it made me feel sick. He was sat on a guy he'd already Ko'd hitting him again and again. So no.

Im guessing Fedoruk will retire. Hopefully Brashear will as well.

I voted none of the above. They're all very non active, except Abs but he sucks at fighting. Eaves was the only guy to comfortably win a fight this season that wasn't May. I like Eaves.

At any rate, these are the types of guys that are VERY much needed in Grand Rapids. They're so small at the moment its untrue. Get these two guys in GR (are they eligible?) and a proper enforcer and GR should do much better next season.
