Id prefer our boy Mitch! (in a few years of course)
-
Which Callahan we talkin' bout here?
-
Your boy Leino sucks. No team in the English Elite league would have him.
-
Unlucky Finnish Wing.
-
Yeah he did lose...but I was scoring it a draw until the end when he was pushed against the boards and Ramsey was able to use the height advantage to score about 6 rights.
-
Callahan has had a fight so far in the game tonight. The guy he fought is 6 foot 5 and 40lbs heavier than him. High probability he lost (although it wouldnt be that shocking if he didnt) but f*** me this kid is fearless!
-
Guess what? ANOTHER multi point night for our boy! (goal and assist) He was the only assist on a shorthanded goal so hopefully thats a sign his skating has improved to be able to start and set up a breakaway shorthanded effort which such success.

Errrrr..... Hockey Ice hockey and everything involved rules

Holmstrom will not play tomorrow vs. Pittsburgh

But that means we get to see Leino in action. Yesss. -
Maybe if Brian Burke has had a few...we might be in business. I assume hes drunk when he makes these trades anyway.
-
Surely we could at least trade Leino for a late round draft pick? Toronto have been doing stupid trades and giving away their picks for nothing...maybe they could make one more lousy trade for old times?
-
Looks like GR may be getting a slice of Lilja soon!
-
Just throwing it out there Per TSN:
-
Should have been Leino.
-
Aye.

I like the fact that they've always had either the same or less fighting majors than us this season. Making us fight fans feel better

Grand Rapids never played well since he arrived there. Glad to see him go!

Tatar Steals the #1 Wings Prospect Ranking from Kindl
uk_redwing replied to Drake_Marcus's topic in General
I also have a boner for Tatar, despite the Hudler comparisons. Hes a good skater, rediculously skilled, scores goals, hustles and seems to love playing physical game depsite his small size...what more could you want? And hes only 18...What a draft pick...and it was only the 3rd round wasnt it? Might elaborate on a few more players seeing as I get to watch most of these prospects playing in Grand Rapids (http://www.justin.tv/griffinslive) Jan Mursak: Great little player. Very skilled, suprising everyone by putting up numbers and continuing to show up despite the terrible run of play GR has been having. Fiesty little guy. Jakub Kindl: I know people on here always seem to bring up his name but I dont really see why. He cant keep up consistancy at AHL level and I havnt been impressed with him. If Detroit had some better defensive prospects than him he'd be much further down the rankings. Logan Pyett: Again, like Mursak, this guy is one of the players who has shined brightly when the rest of the team has dulled. Hes a big guy, who has recently showed willingness to stick up for teammates. If he can improve his physical game a bit more I think he could be a very sound 3rd NHL pairing. edit:...oh yeah, Mitchell Callahan rules. -
ANOTHER multi point night for our boy Mitch last night (2 goals) 21 games to play (51 played), and hes now on 16 goals, 23 assists and 116PIM, compared with last seasons total of 14 goals and 13 assists with 188PIM. Hes still yappin' and scrappin' but hes putting up some decent numbers as well! I believe he is tied for scoring leader of the Kelowna Rockets...its also worth noting that Kelowna, the current cup holders, are having a dire season having lost 25 of their 51 games.

s***house Mancs***es score in Fergie time as per.

I dont think you'd be able to get a cappachino machine with such a weak offer. Maybe a battery powered whisk to make your manually made cappachino frothy.

Jamal Mayers has permission from Toronto to seek trade
uk_redwing replied to uk_redwing's topic in General
I would. In a heartbeat. -
Yeah. Especially guys like Frederick Stanley.
-
I fail to see why I am an easy target. Do enlighten me.

Impressive stuff by Detroit. Though not in a good way.
