Re-sign Downey. Dont care about the rest tbh. Another fighter like Lappy wouldnt go a miss though (And before anyone tries an enforcer argument with me, I like having an enforcer on the team cos fights are ******* awesome and I want more of them.)

Its called the best powerplay in the league. Neither of them are worth 3mil. But Filpulla is a far better 2 way player than Hudler and isnt dogged off the puck as easily.

Where in that article does it say Detroit are going to offer a 4mil cap hit contract? It only says what they COULD do. They could also offer him $500,000 and a bag of cheese.

Chris Neil scored 16 goals in his last full season at NHL level. Tomas Kopecky in his last full season, scored 6. Looks like an improvement to our current 4th line to me.
