I disagree with Ericsson and Abdelkader especially. Theyre quite fiesty guys Ericsson espeically has a mean streak, and Abdelkader has been very open about his love of fighting. Only reason Ericsson has been quite this year is his healing wrist. I expect at least 5 or 6 fight from each other next year. Kopecky is different cos even in the AHL he only had like 3 fights and is generally a soft player.

Hes on mine as well Fun stuff. Downey and his attitude and general greatness would definately make this team better. I feel like Ive had this discussion in a thread somewhere else before now...but I cant find it so I must have imagined it. Guess we better have it again!

The Sabres wernt retaliating after a big hit. So they gave Filppula a little shove. Thats all it was to begin with. It was when other Detroit players came and joined the shoving that anything major happened. All good to see in a good game of hockey Just a shame our GM frowns on this type of play.

Great hit and legal. As for people saying no retaliation was called for...if someone did that to Yzerman you think Probert would think twice about beating the guys ass who just put his star player on his head? I actually gained alot of respect for Crosby after this. As for fighting with a shield on, they both had shields on so dont whine. -

Avery is an agitator. This is his job. He doesnt hurt people like Tootoo or Ott. He gave Thomas a love tap nothing more. I love Avery. He makes games exciting. Id love him to be himself and still be a Red Wing. That kind of s*** gets the adrenaline flowing!

Dont you mean the Downey-factor I dont care what Osgood says. Hes had numurous chances to get his act together this season and each time hes come back as bad if not worse than before. We just gotta hope our defence keeps him from having to do much work. -

If he gets any further punishment expect huge backlash. And I dont get this whole defuser issue thats going on, but if it means the lesser teams are doing well now I hope nothing changes. Knowing F1 they'll bend over to the big 3 teams who won be happy at whats going on.
