Really? 7/10 of game this season have had a fight excluding preseason. Many of those with more than 1 fight...so only 30% of games have been fightless. Btw TV ratings for wings games are down over 20% this season. Just food for thought.

That is the biggest epic win Ive ever seen If you watch hockey to bathe in the glory of winning then yeh sure you'll probably love the wings. Otherwise...Zzz.

If it was a pens fan with an 87 shirt *shudders* I wouldnt be surprised if he thought it was a pens game.

He has played on a line with Helm and Leino in GR quite a number of times this season. And Ive already posted somewhere that if Downey can get 2 points in 4 games with 5mins per game then if he was the first line getting 20 mins a game he would be on for 200 points a season at least using simple logic. And obviously now we've seen his amazing screening and tip in skills, theres no reason why he shouldnt see PP time.

Well...he has played on the first line in Grand Rapids...quite alot. And are you actually suggesting theres some sort of reason that Downey may not be first line material? Did you not see his goal? Hes primed and ready for the first line. He'll sort out these blowouts. Best form of defence is offense.

Im very open minded...but when I turn on ESPN America (the nhl etc. channel here) to watch a wings game only to have the start delayed by about 30 mins cos some stupid people decided to make their boring game of baseball extra boring by making it really long and Im missing potential Downey time for it then Im likely to hate it. Nothing gets in the way o Downey time. And people how are ignorant about hockey dont annoy me. Their loss. I actually quite enjoyed watching curling this one time cos the UK won gold...think it was in the Commonwealth Games...so we beat Doggy's ass How dare...cricket is a damn underrated sport! If its a sport Im actually good at then its a good sport damnit!

Baseball is the most boring sport in the history of mankind. Its weird how most sports get taken up worldwide after theyre invented...hockey, soccer, tennis, golf...yes baseball only exists in America. Cos it ******* sucks.
