And Maltby and Kopecky have? Downeys scored a few goals for GR this season. Besides, there are other enforcers besides Downey (allbeit not as superior ones) Hmm...Mac did play in the SCF. Do you not remember him being challenged by Laraque? Obviously not as you seem to think the playoffs are filled with fights. Any guy that managed even two fights at any Stanley Cup stage has done well, let alone an enforcer. And Mac only had the one playoff fight. An enforcers job isnt just to randomly fight anyway.

Exactly. Kind of how groups of youths always act tough with mates, but when theyre on their own they cower for mercy. I want to see Downey purely cos hes a legend, and everything he says is pure comedy genius And our 4th line sucks anyways...Maltby actually said in an interview earlier in the season that without a decent 4th line a team cant win a cup...how I bet he wishes he never said that.

Or how about, we just accept that after hundreds of thousands of fights in hockey, one person dying in a freak accident is nothing serious. Greatest respect to the kid, but helmets come off in hockey all the time and players are fine.

One thing about Draper. People say hes there as a faceoff specialist. Whilst this is true, reailse that the majority of the faceoffs hes winning that arnt on the PK are for the 4th line...or more specificly THIS 4th line...why bother? They win the faceoff, turnover the puck, other team scores. If the other team just wins the faceoff to begin with, it saves a few seconds which the wings might use to recitfy the fact our 4th line sucks, completely and utterly. A couple of young guys (Meech and Helm) should be put in there to at least give the line a bit of energy. Im not even gonna start on Kopecky.
