Brandon Dubinsky calling Sidney Crosby a little baby

So, by not condoning a dirty act performed by a Red Wing I'm less of a fan than the ones that do? Gotcha, buddy. -
Brandon Dubinsky calling Sidney Crosby a little baby

Just goes to show that a lot of people on this site have a tendency to turn a blind eye to every single instance of borderline dirty/ outright dirty play a Red Wing player performs on or off the ice. That is in essence what GS&T was pointing to. -

Even though it was Lemieux he laid out in that great game, he did cold cock him and he did knee him in the head after Lemieux was down. That still leaves a bad taste in my mouth. -
That would be a mistake by Chicago's front office. Sharp is the type of player you need to win the Cup.

Wow, the veteran goaltender showing the newcomer the ropes! A previously unheard-of concept. I know you love Osgood but I do wish you'd stop whining when people call for him to play the way we all know he's capable of playing. Consistency has always been Osgood's problem. When he's on, he is brilliant. When he's cold, he can be flat out horrible. You learn to take the bad with the good.

Waive his ass if he's going to act like a baby.

Grimson coaches youth hockey down there, too. Must be very cool for the kids.

Read somewhere (MLive?) last week that Kronwall had suffered a setback with his injury.
-
I think Datsyuk is playing hurt. If that is the case, there's no way the team can let him sit with the plethora of injuries it has had ever the last couple of months.

1/16 GDT: Red Wings 2 at Dallas Stars 3 (SO)

The more shady instances of refereeing/ overruling you witness in this league (not just the Wings' games), the less you can convince me that the head honchos aren't trying to keep the standings close for as long as possible. Unless Toronto saw an angle they didn't show, there's no conclusive evidence that the entire puck crossed the line. Circumstantial, possibly, since the puck was spinning over the line slowly as Howard moved his pad forward and at the same time covered the puck. -
Or Canada 1, 2 and 3 could all be upset by "lesser" teams. Remember Belarus made it to the semis in Salt Lake. I cringe when I read articles by writers such as Eric Duhatschek speculate what Team Canada such and such could possibly do in the Olympics. While it is just a writer's wet dream, it's terribly condescending towards the other teams participitating in the tournament.

And Bobby Ryan is a full-fledged Duck now after that late-game hit.

If only it was that easy... Arice is right. Three consecutive years of 3+ rounds of playoff hockey takes its' toll.

... who still managed to play at the NHL level. -
Put Osgood in a glass case with a "Break in case of playoffs" sign attached. Howard has been a pleasant surprise after a not so hot start. His confidence seems to be growing with more starts. Still needs to work on his rebound control, though. Osgood will come around. He always does.

If Lidstrom's birth certificate listed Regina as his place of birth, he would've passed Orr already.
-
Outright wrong. And lest we forget, Yzerman wasn't regarded as an elite 2-way player until Bowman "persuaded" him to become one.
-
Thankfully, it's an Eklund rumour. Giguere isn't an improvement at the position at this point.
-
Sure, it's not pretty but that last bounce sends the puck up twice as high as the previous one. Huet had already positioned his glove when the puck kicks higher.

In no particular order, Dale Hawerchuk, Steve Larmer, Thomas Steen, Ron Francis and Mats Sundin.
-
No, he has been labeled one by the media and the fans.

Because size equals toughness....

...and apparently Shanny is not going to uproot his family.

Actually, they do.

Around 8.5 seasons. Osgood averages 3.26 SO's per season over his career.
