Dom gets the loss unless the Wings score another goal.

Just accept the fact we're losing this game and move on. It doesn't matter if we lose this game in the least. In fact, it's a good humbling experience heading into the playoffs. I never want our team heading into the playoffs against those dangerous 8th seeded teams on a crazy hot streak because they get too confident in themselves and those 8th place teams take advantage of that. This is why the Sharks better hope they lose in the next few games.

You know I'm starting to hate these Columbus and Nashville announcers who raise their voice like something amazing is happening and a goal is about to be scored forcing me to turn my head to watch the game when the play is ONLY in the freakin neutral zone. Stop making me look you dumb announcers!

But I'll tell you right now, only about 30 of those 150 "extra" shots were probably even good scoring chances. Teams seem to pepper Ozzie with shots from further out that are easier to save and can thus, pad his stats. I'm just glad Ozzie has been stopping them all!

I don't understand that whenever Dom is in net, he faces like 15 shots a game, but when Osgood is in, they get like 25-30 on him. It's the weirdest thing I've ever seen. Coming into today's game, Dom has faced 765 shots in 2099 minutes, Osgood has faced 915 in 2235 minutes. So in 2.2 more games played by Osgood, he's faced 150 more shots, that's crazy.

Looks like it hit Nick's stick and dipped down on Dom.

you could feel that Nashville was gonna tie this game as soon as they killed that 5 on 3. The crowd and energy in the arena is crazy right now. Detroit always get screwed like that.

Yeah, people trying to use the shot totals as scoring chances = FAIL. The BJ's had had a much higher percentage of quality scoring chances on their shots, which is why they have 4 goals. It doesn't matter how many you take, it's what kind they are. They've had 2 one timer goals from the slot, one from the goal line basically that bounced off a few skates, and one mid air tip which is a one in a million fluke. That's 4 out of 12 right there, and their other 8 have been from in close. They're not peppering our goalies with softies and floaters from the blue line that they can see all the way, ala Sammy and Hudler.

That play happened so fast, there was nothing he could do. He wasn't going to save that 3rd goal. He already went down to commit to the first shot which he would've saved if it hadn't hit Nick's stick. You're just grasping for straws on that one man. But with this 4th goal now, it's time for a goalie change anyways just to give the Wings some life. I'd only put the blame on Dom for that 2nd goal, but the other 3 he has no chance on.

Please tell me you're joking right now... No goalie in the world would've stopped that 3rd goal. It hits off of Lidstrom's stick and bounces wide and the same dude somehow skates past Lidstrom and bats it out of midair and scores.

Dom can't win tonight. He goes down early on the 1st one, then stays up for the 2nd one. Though the first one he did was he was supposed to do, protect against the wrap around, he can't help it if Nash goes out wide and 2 guys skate inbetween him and the net then Nash dishes it off to the side for a one timer.
