Well yeah, I obviously meant phenomenal in the second half. My rage at Threet basically comes from his inability to complete a pass on the last 3 or 4 drives. I don't care how well he played before that, when he needed to do it, he couldn't. I'm not throwing away the season or even any single games because I do think Michigan will improve greatly in the next couple weeks, but this loss was just really disappointing.

D was phenomenal, especially on Utah's last few drives. Unfortunately Steven Threet might be the worst piece of s*** I've ever seen attempt to throw a football. Normally I'd be really depressed right now, but I'm honestly just filled with rage right now.

OK, well we've seen what can happen if you keep going after a guy who won't fight. Obviously that was a fluke, but there's a reason you don't unfairly jump someone like Bert did. I've got no problem with a guy getting jumped from the front if he needs to get his ass kicked but keeps declining. Don't double-team a guy; it makes you look worse than the guy who deserved it IMO.

I've seen what Kindl did. You still don't double team a guy. Did Kindl deserve to get his ass kicked? Absolutely. Did Foreman and Beaulieu go about in the right way? Not even close.

I wouldn't mind seeing him end up in Phoenix. Anything that Helps Jokinen make the playoffs.

I definitely agree about little kids not using composites. There's absolutely no reason for it. Past that though, is purely preference. It's not a guarantee that your shot's going to be better with a 1 piece, but it usually can't hurt either. Nothin' beats lumber for a good 2 hander though, you're right about that one

Pavs uses the RBK 9K O stick. I've used that one before, and it's really nice. Hank uses an Easton Synergy of some sort I think, although I couldn't tell you exactly which one. It looks like a Synergy Elite though. Nick and Cheli both use that same stick I'm pretty sure. If your friend is upgrading from a two piece stick or (God forbid) wood, he should see some improvement in his shot if he's got some skill. If not though, it's really not worth it. And the difference from one piece composite to another really isn't that big in my experience, although out of all the sticks I've ever used, the Vapor XXXX is definitely my favorite.

I may be way off base here, but it always seemed to me that he/everyone at ESPN had a gigantic hard-on for Peter Forsberg, which I could see being interpreted as an Avs bias.
