QFT, Wings in 5. Teams just don't win every game in the playoffs. A loss sucks, but somehow it pretty much has to happen.

Why not pull him with 8 minutes left? I don't think it really matters when you pull the goalie, I just wish Babs had gotten to use his time out so the big boys could all be out there again.

I'm not saying this an excuse, but I really think something was up with Stuart's skates tonight. There were at least 2 occasions where he ate it just stopping and changing directions.

FireCaptain is right. I don't hear anyone but Doc use the term really, but it's especially when the puck isn't in a good shooting position out in front of you and you just kind of push it.

Seriously. He decided that since the rest of the team wasn't playing too well he'd do it himself, and he almost tied the game up a couple times.

I only think it's possible because it's Chris Chelios. You knew he wasn't going to get back in as long as the Wings were winning, I'm just thinking Babs might throw him a bone or something.

This is true. A split is the most I expected in Pittsburgh. The Wings losses have come in pairs this postseason though, hopefully they break that trend.

Easy now, I love Jarkko Ruutu. There's 2 ways to look at this 3rd period: 1. The Pens are getting away with a lot. 2. The refs have put their whistles away and Pittsburgh is taking advantage of it more than the Wings are.
