As it turns out, it's not exactly like either example since in yours he does the same thing back to the guy, which he didn't. In reality it's more like Sykora ran into Osgood and then he fell down. But now we're "arguing" for the sake of arguing.

Babcock doesn't like to change a winning lineup either, so that's probably part of the reason Lilja's still in. Though he has played well except for that one (rather large) gaffe last game.

I fully intend to jot down the time of every possible infraction Pittsburgh commits tonight, too. Either during the game or on a 2nd viewing afterwards. I just want to show that ****** on the Pens board that the Wings aren't quite the dirty team he thinks they are.

Ok, so this is the night that the Red Wing finally win 14-2. That's 2 touchdowns with PATs to a safety. The Wings will go 7 for 2 on the PP, and the other 7 will be scored shorthanded. Zetterberg will have all 7 shorties, Pavs has all 7 PPG. It's gonna happen, and it will be glorious.

I second the nervous before every game notion. Even though I'm nervous, I've never once thought that the Wings were going to lose a game going in to it. The only way the Wings lose tonight is if they don't play well and I think they're too close to the Cup to let themselves do that.

I really don't think Franzen's was a dive. Sometimes you get hit and it takes a second for you to realize that it hurts. That's probably what happened there, and Ozzie DID get hit, and he think he legitimately lost his balance when he fell there. I agree that IF the Wings started to dive all the time every time they got touched that it would suck, but they don't.
