Haha, I'm getting it too. It's definitely weird. Is it Matt's doing or what? Oh, and *raises hand.* I haven't been here as long as a lot of the other aught-two members though, because if I remember correctly I was only registered for a few weeks before I had to register again in June of 02.

I won't be able to watch this one from home, as I will unfortunately be headed to Indianapolis tomorrow. Regardless, the fact remains that the Red Wings will eek out a 14-2 victory in true nailbiter fashion.

I totally get that viewpoint, but I just think that these Penguins aren't inexperienced anymore. What's the magical number of playoff games where a guy's suddenly a veteran? I think once you make the Cup Finals, you ARE experienced. And with the playing from behind example you gave, they already came down from 3 goals once against the Rangers. I don't think experience is the Wings advantage in this series. Being the better team is. -

Experience is so overrated. The Pens got this far, they're not inexperienced anymore. I'll take an inexperienced guy who can play over an old guy who can't play as well any day. -
This And this. It sounds like the OP has real life confused with the movies, as if Franzen could just say, "Screw you, medical professional who knows and understands the risks associated with my condition, I'm going to play!" And then Babcock and the rest of the organization would somehow be OK with it. This is mostly because you don't mess around with head injuries, but it's also slightly a CYA move on the part of the NHL and Red Wings organization.

Simply put, because it's a head injury. Playing with a broken hand can hurt like a mofo, but you're not at risk of your life ending prematurely because of it.

I think this is something that they replay fairly often. I don't have NHL Network though, so I've yet to see it.

I still don't think that makes him biased. There probably have been times where arguably the 3 best players were on the same team. And 1 person? I promise I could find 1 Maybe not a million though.

Just because you don't agree with him doesn't mean he's biased. He gave reasons for why he thinks they're the best. They're definitely not bad reasons either.

Bingo! Except I find the yelling far more disrespectful, especially coming from a place supposedly filled with such patriotic people. Hank isn't even American, so I don't mind him not doing what we've been taught to do since we were little since he hasn't.
