I can't say I agree that Rob's hit was clean. It was still from behind, but it probably should have only been 2 mins. Pronger for sure deserves a suspension for what he did, that was just inexcusable. And as kind of an aside, even though most of us hate Pronger, try to remember what it was like at the Joe when he blocked Nick's shot and collapsed a lung (at least I think that's what happened) and compare it to how the Ducks' fans reacted to a cheap shot that injured Homer.

Most of those were fighting majors. And actually according to hockeyfights.com, they had 71 fighting majors, so they either had more than 70, or fewer than 71 fights.

Since when did the NHL institute a 2-for-1 deal rule? Call me a homer, but they both should have gotten 5 and a game for that hit. Apparently if we send 2 guys up to give Getzlaf or someone a nice BC 2 hander at the exact same time, only one will get a penalty. Glad to see Homer back out there at least

If you're serious, it's the professional basketball team here in Michigan. And if you're not serious, then I'm an idiot I like the Pistons and Tigers and Lions and all, but during the NHL playoffs, I don't even pay attention to the Pistons, I really just don't care about them right now.

I feel the same way. When I moved to Clinton Township I was so excited because I live 10-ish minutes away and figured I'd go there all the time. I imagined it to be this gargantuan place just filled wall to wall with Wings' stuff. It's cool and all, and I got decent deals on Hank and Ozzie signed pucks, but it was a pretty big letdown, and I don't go nearly as often as I thought I would.

Probably my favorite series in my whole 20 years of living. Games 6 and 7 were just amazing.

Well, very few things would be able to take my mind off this game, but I missed last Monday's 24, so i think it's time to watch Jack Bauer kill some bad guys. As much as this sucked, I think we'll get at least 1 in Anaheim. Just gotta put this one behind us and have faith in our boys.

I can rationalize that the 1st one shoudln't have been a goal for a couple reasons, but it's just that - rationalizing. There is absolutely no ******* chance in hell that 2nd reviewed goal should have counted. I don't care if pushing in is reviewable or not, that goal was scored illegally.

Maybe so, but since there was no ruling originally, there's no reason not to wave it off. They've reviewed goals and waved them off because of intent to blow the whistle before. Anyway, Versus is a bunch of idiots. They're admitting that Dom was pushed in, but refusing to mention that for that very reason it should not have been a goal.

If there is any fairness in this world, the Wings will win this game on a goal that's not really a goal.

Ok so, the refs have been absolutely awful tonight. Not necessarily in a "all the calls are going against us" type of way, (although I could see that argument) but they've been calling the bulls*** "New NHL" calls, and they've let at least 3 hits from behind go. I've come to accept that the tiny calls are going to be there every game, but why not call the penalties that are there to actually protect the players safety? If they don't start calling those I think someone's going to get hurt.

I absolutely LOVE that angle for the PP, but only for the PP. It sucks any other time.

Same, and Alfredsson has looked really really good tonight too. Am I the only one who feels like there's no chance Buffalo will win this game? It hasn't been pure domination in OT by the Sens, but I'm just getting that feeling, I dunno.
