Now, I absolutely love fighting, but this caught my eye because I haven't seen it suggested before: I really like that idea so long as misconducts aren't accounted for in this. Also, I was really surprised that 48% of people think there should be a mandatory half visor rule.

Sharp was wearing a visor though, that makes it slightly different than Lilja's situation.

Tasker vs. Senn is one of my favorite fights ever, I'm really glad they gave that one some recognition.

NHL.com had a breakdown on shootout techniques a couple weeks ago, and IIRC, the slapshot, although very rarely used, had decent results.

I think the whole things comes down to spirit of the law vs. letter of the law. Not only was it not Bert's fault, it was actually Backes'. If the refs were able to use any common sense they could have let that go. But I assume they have to follow the rules exactly as they're written, with very little or no leeway. That doesn't mean I'm not pissed that they called it.

OK, it's 6-3 Wings tonight. Homer, Flip, Calder, Rex, Pavs, Markov. Bert with 2 assists, and I'm gonna take it a step further and say a hooking penalty as well Seriously though, It's just an amazing day here in Michigan, beautiful weather, and you can just feel the excitement of Wings fans in the air. LET'S GO WINGS! :hockeysmile:

There's been at least 3 that should have been called. The delay of game, the charge that took Flip out for a while, and some random interference call that i can't remember right now, so it couldn't have been that bad
