Well, I can only think of one instance of Crosby being a hot dog, and it was when he was in Rimouski. And he still celebrates some big goals and especially nice ones by him and I don't see him taking too much crap for it.
-
He celebrates just his much when his teammates score. It's not an dick move, he just gets really excited.
-
The Wild lose 3-14. Leino, angered by being forced to sit again in favor of an aging veteran and a grinder with a low amount of skill, scores all 14 goals telepathically from the press box.
-
Yeah when I said it doesn't matter, I meant me being cool with it. I meant I was cool with it because it was still under Stuart's cap relief and Holland is still accumulating cap space for the deadline if he wants it.
-
This still isn't eating in to any actual cap space I think, too, so I'm cool with it. Not that that matters, obviously.
-
I believe we started that just before the playoffs last season. I know I predicted it as a goof before one game because Datsyuk needed 14 points to catch someone and it's the score I've predicted for every game since. Not sure who actually started it though.

Ducks lose 3 to 14. That is all. Let's see how that works.
-
It's funny to imagine hardcore French-Canadian bikers, but they did some heinous s*** in the 90s.
-
I love Carcillo, but doing stupid s*** like that after a fight has always pissed me off.
-
SK wasn't even really linked to any illegal activity. He knows a drug dealer. Big ******* deal. I hate the media.
-
Well over 1000 posts in the Habs forum there. They're already on their second thread.
-
I'm really into the schadenfreude of all this right now, so I'm really pissed that CKAC just mindf***ed everyone by saying they'd have the story at midnight and then saying they'll know everything by 2 AM. TEAM1040 in Vancouver says they can't talk about it yet, but if it's true it's gonna rock the league.
-
Sportsnet is breaking it at midnight now. Allegedly, anyway.
-
Well apparently TEAM 990 said they weren't hurting anyone but themselves, so that could fit I guess
-
I'll bet this will be mild compared to some of the s*** that goes down in the NFL. And they say there's no such thing as bad press... We'll see I guess.
-
You have piqued my curiosity. I'm dying to know what's going on now.

You're nowhere near a troll rep. We're both just stating our opinions here. I know I'd take the opportunity to pound a superstar's face in, especially if he dropped 'em first like Hossa did. But that could just be me. If anyone sought anyone out, Hossa sought Suter out. They really just came together more than anything though.
-
I wouldn't say that's impossible, but I'd say it's HIGHLY unlikely. If you have a chance to cleanly take out a division rival's star player, most guys are gonna do it I bet.

My point was that fighting often makes the game even more chippy. Fighting for retribution is great for morale and for the fans, but to say enforcers serve a safety purpose is just dumb. I've had my ass kicked in games for hurting players, and I didn't think twice about making a hard hit later. Hell it probably made me even more likely to put my elbow up or something. And I'm a ***** compared to NHL enforcers. Fighting has a place and purpose and great history and blah blah blah. But the amount of games won and lost because of a fight is negligible. Enforcers are great, but they're not 100% necessary. See how I did that without calling anyone names? Pretty cool, huh?
-
Let's see if anybody goes with this... Show me one instance where a fight prevented an injury.
-
I think the majority of us would be satisfied with this team regardless of how many fighting majors it has.
-
I think those interviews with the Russians at least are conducted in Russian by some dude. They players probably feel more relaxed and less like it's an actual interview and open up a little more. Datsyuk calling himself the most underrated player is a prime example.
-
Too many men is ticky-tack? I would be livid, but I'd be livid at the ******* idiot who came off the bench early. It's not like it's a tough rule to follow.

LOL @ 2 Preds injuring each other there.
