In short, yes, it's completely justifiable. If a team doesn't want him, it's on Avery and no one else. It's not just this comment, but s*** he's done in the past, and mainly s*** he might do in the future. Yeah it sucks for him, but if 0 out of 30 organizations want a guy like that on their team, then that's just the way it is.

Agreed on the Vapor XXXX, incredible stick. And as for the black paint/tape, I always use black tape for that reason, but it's a superstition. I had a goalie tell me that if black tape really makes it harder to pick the puck up, you have no business playing goalie.

They kind of run out of insults. There's at least one insult in there that is actually kind of a compliment.
