Wings win by 3. I might be going to the game. Does anyone know where to purchase the student discount tickets, and where the seating is usualy located? If it's crappy, I guess I can move down a few rows, since I don't think it will be full.

Yeah, keep watching the games on FSN and watch for the "before the end of the 1st/2nd period" specials. I'm glad that they now offer student discount tickets (upper bowl seats, most likely corners for $15), although I have yet to take advantage of it.

Whatever happened to NorrisNick? I haven't seen him around the forums ( at least the ones that I check up on). Then again I don't read is as much as I used to with school and stuff.

Before the faceoff they were talking a lot, I think they were going to fight eventually, but crosby knew he was going to get wailed on so he made sure he started it and caught McLean by surprise. To clear it up for so me people, I don't hate crosby nor do I ***** about him. I just think that he does get special treatment sometimes, and people speak of him as if he's god. Yes, he is a superstar, but I consider players that are skilled in all aspects of the game (offense and defense) to be more valuable IMO. Oh, and I do not sit and scan news to see if Crosby is involved. I was checking Yahoo NHL and this was one of the links. People that complain about people who complain about Crosby are as bad the the other people. Wow, that was a mouthful.

Our team in general has improved over the last couple of games. I'm eager to see how Ozzy plays once he comes back.

Glad to see we dominated even with Nick out. Was kind of hoping for a fight at some point, but still satisfied by the Wing's play. I wonder if Kopecky reads these forums...a day or two after people mention waiving him or putting him on the trading block and he scored. lol. Conks definitely deserved to be 1st star, I'd go with player of the week after this game.

I thought about that, then wrote my second post (the one about just putting him on waivers, even if we lost him, it would just be a lost agitator...I think Hudler, Stuart, and Hossa have been pissing the opposition off plenty as of recent games). They should put up a board in the locker room and put red and gold stars on it. Put in 100% effort and try your hardest, get a gold star. Play like crap and don't try? red star. Enough red stars and you're either scratched or traded. Kinda like treating them like kids, cause they're certainly not putting in 100% every day.

Who do suggest we trade him for then? I think that we could possibly get away with maybe putting Malts or Kopecky on waivers and praying they clear to bring up Helm and someone else. IMO, I'd keep Raffy; 5th in points and 2nd in assists. Granted I think he's getting paid a bit too much.

Who would you place on the trading block first? I think it would either be Maltby or Kopecky.

Wings 5 Avs 1 Datsyuk finally gets a hat trick. Once the Avs start to get physical in the end seeing that they can't win, Lilja or Stuart will destroy someone...I can wish..lol

I say Feb 10 (next time we play nashville) our entire 4th line gets "ill" and we bring up McCarty, Downey, and Abdelkader and have them and Lilja + whoever else wants to join just go to town on Tootoo, and the entire nashville bench...god that would be amazing; Wings bench clearing brawl. But anyways, hopefully Lids and Ozzy are back for Saturdays game.
