When I saw that on TSN I almost fell out of my chair laughing. My friend sent this via AIM after I showed him the photo (He's a Leafs fan). "Hey, lets have a parade" -okay! "What do you wanna ride in?" - A TANK! "wow, sid, overcompensating much?" - I WANT A TANK! "OKAY! But you have to wear a helmet, we can get you an army one" -NO, I wanna wear mine.

He's Ukrainian by birth (but plays for Russia..lame) As much as I would love for him to go to Detroit (so I could finaly say a Ukie plays for them), I dunno about his work ethic. it's been questioned a bit, but maybe Babcock could whip him into shape. For a good price I wouldn't mind seeing him here, but I don't think it's going to happen. I'd rather have Fedotenko who likes to show up in the playoffs.

That's what I'm talkin about! I'm upset they didn't make it. Maybe if certain players that were born in Ukraine actually played for Ukraine instead of Russia...bastards.

I agree. Maybe if the Joe had 5$ tickets, but I don't see it happening. I don't think too many people from within Detroit (not counting suburbs) actually go to the games, especially with the unemployment rate and all that.

It would be amazing if it were held in the Big House, but I highly doubt the Wings will take part in another Winter Classic for at least 10-15 years. Although Wings vs Leafs would be cool to watch.

Fedotenko is not available. He signed a 1 year w/ Pitts. Numbers aren't out yet, but he made the same as Hudler did last year. Damn, kinda wish he would've left the Pens... -

I actually think that Fedotenko would go where he would get the highest offer and still have a chance to compete. He's 30 and has already won 2 cups. Most people who take cuts are older guys who haven't won the cup yet. Not sure about what Guerin would do though.

LGW during the summer (especially after a late round playoff loss) is like a text version of Comedy Central. Sometimes the threads are funny and entertaining (both from stupidity and/or topic choice) and sometimes I'm like WTF?

Does anyone know how much Crosby, Malkin and Fleury (as well as the rest of the players) are making? I've been talking with some friends about contracts and such and was just wondering. (Not so much the amount they're making, but more so the cap hit the team takes).

I think it's possible to make it back to the Finals (of course we're going to have to step up the effort and not coast like the Wings tend to do), but this offseason could be an interesting one. I'm saving my predictions until the start of the season.

Fedotenko is going to go where he gets offered the most. He's already won 2 cups with 2 teams, but that's just what I think. I'd love to have him here. No trading Stuart..he has a NTC that I don't think he's going to waive. No thanks to Legace. Never really liked him for some reason.

I think what the poster meant was to get Hank on Crosby right from the faceoff instead of having to win the draw, then get Hank out there. If Pitts wins the faceoff in our zone, they're not going to be able to change a player for Hank right away. Being on home ice eliminates this.
