Though I dont see a forseeable end to the TV/media infatiuation with Sid, I think i the coming years, many of the so called Crosby haters will let up. He will mature as a hockey player, and as a person. People will see all that he has to offer. Yes, the media has carpet bombed us with Crosby this and that, but when he has some interviews, you can see a genuine guy behind the hype.

Phoenix has had a decent season, better than their last few. But they are done. Nash, Van and Colorado would really need to tank. And I just can see those teams doing that poorly.

Well, obviously with how close 6-9 spots are, we could play a bunch of different teams. But lately, Van has been sitting in that spot. As much trouble as Luongo could be, I would LOVE to be the Canucks in the playoffs this year. Though, it would be a very stressful series for me to watch.

Even football fields are like that too. I love the idea of outdoor games, and I enjoyed watching them. However, whenever the camera panned out an showed the rink in relation to the stadium it was so small. Even those people in the front rows would be quite some distance back.

However, despite his totals, in goals, points, if he can't get the Caps to the playoffs, he isn't deserving of the Hart. Yes he is incredibly important to that team/franchise, however, and MVP should be able to elevate his team to that next level. That being said, obviously I'd like to see Nick finally get the nod. However, another Norris is where Nick will have to settle. Because after Sid went down I really thought the Pens would struggle. But Malkin has stepped up his game huge and has been a beast. If season ended right now. I'd have to say he would be crowned champ.

the Illegal curve rule is so dumb. I know it has been argued, but the NHL wants more scoring, the snipers like the curves, ... its not going to hurt anyone. Let them use whatever kinda curves they want. ... ...they'll just have zero backhand.

Me too. I would love to see the Caps, primarily because of AO in the playoffs.l It is a shame if they cant get there. I also think, regardless of his points total, it has to hurt his shot at MVP if they dont get in.

I know, I saw something similar when he first made the NHL on CBC. It was all about how he was the first, and he was going to represent his peoples. And beyond just Inuit, but much of the 1st nations cultures. But he really is disappointing. I mean, I understand that the guy was never going to be a gifted goals scorer/ playmaker, etc. But that doesnt mean you have to go around like a F*ckin moron waving your stick like a spear. He is a player I would hate to play against. Not cuz he is tough, not cuz he plays hard, but because his reckless, careless, thoughtless play would have me worried if I was going to leave the ice with an injury. I know Tootoo has no way of ever reading stuff like this, but I wish for his sake, the sake of those he plays against, and the culture he supposably represents that he would clean up his game. But, not going to happen. And it is a shame.

Living where I do, not a chance that I'm going to make it to any of the remaining games, but when watchin on TV, I woudl go Nuts if I heard the arena open up with MVP chants. Tha would be incredible!!! I dont know why, but just thinkin about that got me pumped.
