Hope this wasn't already mentioned but I still find it funny in regards to Lindros. Not sure if it was with the Flyers, or back when he was drafted by Quebec, but there once upon a time was a rumour (not sure how legit) of a trade that involved Lindros coming to Detroit in exchange for Fedorov, Lidstrom, amognst others. Haha, now look where things are.

Here's hoping Cap is up to $75 mill next year and we can get Heatley Marleau and Feds. Feds is pver his tennis hoe, he can return to Hockeytown to fill a role to finish out his career.

Just a thought. I know nobody wants to throw away an entire year but at the same time with massive contracts being handed out this year, many of those teams are out of the running to do the same next year. I have no idea what next years UFA list looks like, but we could (and will) obviously offer Zetta an extension when time comes, but we could always go after a guy like Vinny. I will always have faith in this team, even if we arent the same roster as the 02' championships. I'm a little dissapointed with the way everything turned out. Hated him, but I would have loved to see Bert still around. But as I said, we didn't land the big salaries this year, that keeps us open for next year.

I know it has been tossed out there before about splittin Dats and Z up. We've tried it with varried levels of success. Truth is though... I love them together. The are great as individuals, but unreal as a duo. Keep them in tact. Find some other route to open a 2nd scoring line. Thats all I have to add to the line-up discussion. For now.

Draperfan must be sooo happy. Haha. As much as I may have also had lingering resentment fo the guy.... I did want him to stay. I really just thought he could somehow recapture his dominant self. Obviously he has a history with Burke, and I have a bad feeling with him, he will return to that form. Just in someone elses Uni. If we had landed one of the other big names out there, this wouldn't have been so bad. But pretty much everyone I could have wanted is gone. Shizzaty. We'll see.

Due to his terribly inconsistant play, I say no. However, this guy just got a massive pay out. So I will be really interested to see how much he does sign for. Obviously it wont be pocket change ... but money certainly 'might' not be his main focus.

Hate to say it, but Roy is the only guy to win it 3 times. The two dates above, plus in 2001. I hate Giggy simply based on the fact he beat us out ... twice now. But if he were to be on the winnign team this season and win the Conn Smyth it would be very cool. Cuz last time he won it, he was on the losing team. Not too many guys can say they have done that.

In round 1 when he was go toe to toe with Dion, it was awesome. Hopefully Bert will respect that his price tag has dropped and everything will work out. Haha, oops. I feel odd. Normally headin' into this situation the nerves would be tearing me apart. But I am oddly calm. This may change game time, but for now, just the feeling of laying just beneath the surface of the water. I have every bit of faith in this team. We have shown all season, and especially in these playoffs that we can play at a top level and compete and win in the playoffs. We have scored, saved and hit with the best of them. We have all the talent in the world. We can return to the cup finals and contend for sports greatest trophy. Tonight will not be easy, but with our roster, or faith, and more so than anything, our Desire, we can and will win game 6, to give us the opportunity to win it in 7 back at home. Go Wings!!! I was at work, busy bar and restaurant, and for the duration of the game I was pretty distracted. The last few mins, I was pretty much useless, haha. Well, I would like see us take the game to them in #2, but with the W, and Doms unreal performance I must say I am very happy. The refs may have let one or two slide on us, but they were absolutly brutal tonight. Both sides suffered, but particilary us. There were atleast 4 or 5, more than obvious (to the point where the TSN announcers were calling it) that should have be called on the Ducks. Oh well, we draw first blood in the series and are gunna keep going. Big Win!! Go Wings!!! Love you Dom!!!

We All know you hate him. Enough! I mean, I am no Bert fan by any stretch. I live in BC as well, and for seemingly too long I had to put up with crap attitude and s***ty interviews and incosistant play. However, he is a member of our team now. That doesn't mean I automatically like the guy, or forgive him for all he has done. But as a Red Wing I wish him my best and will cheer will he is on the ice. I am (as my account suggests) relativily young on LGW's. Nearing a year. And I am definatley not a mod. So you are free to express your opinion whenever and however you like. But come on. Every single time a thread or post even mentions Bertuzzi you have to chime in with some useless comment about his attitude, game, play, past, etc. How about this, edit your signature ... proclaim you dont like him, and let that be that. I loved seeing Bert in round 1 gettin' up against Dion. I didnt see it so much in Round 2, but would love to see it again in Round 3. He has all the potential in the world, someone jsut has to awaken the beast.

Agreed. Dom made a mistake, but do to a nic eplay there was no goal. But Dom was awesome tonight. A few really clutch saves. I'd say his best game of the playoffs. We got 2 goals, and not for a second did he let them think they were back in it. Credit obviously goes to the whole team, but I loved Doms game. Keep it up.
