Hopes Leb and Homer get back quick. We do need our fill roster to go all the way. We'll hol dthe gates in their absense, but it'll be nice to see them back Really makes me wonder how the NHL didnt give a suspension for the pnuch on Lebda though. I know, its over and done with, we won the series, but still, out 2 games now with a concusion, just frustrating I suppose.

This is a stupid thread. I know it is nice to say you support your team through everything but this is coming across like a show-off and at that, showing off to people who support the same team as you. I didnt cry for the worlds end when Calgary won 3 and 4, I still said we would win, though I was uneasy with the momentum swing. It happens in the playoffs, people get nervous, jump to quickly sometimes. There were a select few Very negative comments which I'll agree with you on, but for the most part, we are all Wings fans, lets not pick on eachother and point fingers and just cheer for our team to continue on through the playoffs. Go Wings!

(oops, thread derailment, haha... we will discuss this again in july) This series, despite what the scoresheets may say I send out congrats to: Cleary - who was always noticeable, big hits, etc Lilja - who gave most of us a nice suprise Bertuzzi - who was looking more and more like his old self. I'd still love him to shoot more. But with every hit and everytime he came together with Dion, I got all bubbly. Dats - He wasnt huge in Calgary game 3-4, but he finally showed us all that he can continue his great play into the playoffs.

I had my best friend and canucks fan shake my hand on saturday night saying that if Vancouver didnt win he'd being pickin a new team next year. Despite any efforts, he would never join us though. Is there some sort of Red Wings retreat to show fans the true path to a successful franchise? Anyway, well it is odd, cuz I would think we could beat either of these teams however, both goalies are playing unreal. So we are going to have to absolutle dominate the offensive game, and make our shots and PP count. Cuz neither Turco or Luongo are going to let much by. I knwo in order to play Luongo, that will be 3rd round, but it could happen. That being said, Dallas wins tonight 2-1. Or something that nobody expected, 7-5.

I live in Canda, and during the regular season it is nice when Detroit comes north, because I get to watch the games. However, in the playoffs all games (generally) are aired. Especially heading into the second round, there are fewer teams playin so regarless of where the wings are they it will be on TV. A lot of Canadians seem frustrated that 'their' teams cant win a cup. But everytime they give me that arguement, I just say there are jsut as many canadians on that american team as there are on that candian team. Obviously living in Canada, I didnt pick my team based on location, or I'd be a Nucks fan. (shivers) But I chose my team based on the players that wore the jersey, and got Detroit. Replying to the Hockeytown comment... I had a lot of people lately in Canada get pissed about that. And I went to bat for Detroit obviously. I love Canada, a know the sport is our treasure, but Detroit and Ilitch (spelling) built Hockeytow, (and I believe it is generally referred to as Hockeytown USA) Anyway, I dont care who Detroit plays as long as we bring our A game, but I do sympathize with those back east for the time difference (though gives the LNC something to do) and also because it will be nice to have an eavily announced game.

Similar situation, my game was 5-3. Despite the three, Dom made some unreal saves. And I personally netted 2. My rating however is a 91. As has been mentioned by so many. I am disappointed with the way everything has turned out. Mclennan got suspended (as he should) but its not like that will impact the team or the game at all. With any justice in the world, Kipper will pull his groin and they will be forced to play their 3rd. Langkow however is the one I am most upset about. If Lebda cant play, I'll will be pissed. I nearly got kicked out of the Pub where I was watching the game, cuz all the flames fans were cheering when he turned and punched Lebda. God I love the playoff, get the blood going, but not like this. Lets finish these chuckers off tonight.

What happened to us only lettin the get 15-20 shots all night? That had a lot to do with how much pressure we put on their zone ... we can't hold the puck down there for more than 1 shot.
