I wasn't pleased that we didnt score in the first last game, but I was happy that we survived the first with Clagray havin' that boost from their home crowd. Though, tonight, I would love to see Detroit get a goal in the first 5 minutes. And honestly, I dont care how it comes, but I would love it to be Bert. And I would love it to be similar to the one Calder scored at the end of the regular season, big hit work to the net and score!

Yeah, it is just like on tv. Same announcers, camera angles extra. No commercials though. Just goes blank for 30 seconds. I think it does depend on computer quality for viewing quality ... but as I said, better than nothing. Glad to help. I was pretty stressed last game when I found out Detroit wouldnt be on tv, so I serached till' I came up with it.

We need to come out with jump regardless of who is on the ice. I never like to see a player hurt, and it must really sucks to work so hard for so long to miss that playoffs. That being said, right now, he is my enemey, so him on the sidelines does not hurt me at all.

I was in this situation in BC the other day. It was Ottawa Pens, then straight to Vancouver. After the Nucks game ended it took me to Calgary. Not sure if you know this ... but on CBC.ca they stream the games. That was how I watched the first period and a half last game. It isn't ideal, but it is better than nothing. I was fine until I opened up this thread, and suddenly my tummy has all the bubbles going. Damn to I hope for a win. A decisive win. Bert should keep improving as he gets more comfortable. Big hit, followed by a bigger goal. And Dats and Z connect on 1, maybe 2, perhaps 3. Lids gets back to his normal dominating self, and Dom returns huge after game 3. Go get um' wings.

You really think it will stop? I dunno, I just think everytime needs someone to point the blame at. Us wings fans are lucky, we have 2 or 3 of them, makes it easier, we can rotate. And if we are really mad, we can just throw out names cuz luck of the draw says we are gunna hit one of them.

I thought he was decent in game 1. Game 2 and 3 were questionable. He wasnt our worst player ... but then again he isn't paid like our worst player either. And he can hardly be blaimed for the partial break he was stopped on in game 2 (i think) he picked his corner and Kipper made a nice save. Then Langer made sure to give him a stare down. Hopefully it will transition into a goal or some big plays in game 4. We need more than just him to step it up though.

Obviously as a Wings fan I would've loved to see a win. But I really never thought this series was going to be solved in 4 games. I have tons of repect for the team we are up against, regarless of the outcome from game 1 and 2. You may say you have an uphill battle, (no questions about that) and our path isn't a cake-walk either. Will be interesting on thursday.

Totally it does. But peoples picking and choosing who to boo varies team to team and player to player. It is hard for anyone to boo Sakic. He is just class act. Different players play with fans emotions in different ways. When Bert was with the Nucks, he was a devastating force and could single handedly turn the tide of a game. (as can others) But bert has the othe stuff about him which makes him an obvious target.

No ... just the ones who were damn good and punished you. Same deal with Crosby gettin' that taunts from Ottawa. It is because they know how damn good he is and what he is capable of.

And you are right. I mean, we didn't suck, but we weren't as strong as we could have been. Especially the first period. We had opportunites to go up ... obviously the 4 minute PP and could hardly muster a shot. The Flames fed off desperation and a home crowd and got the win. We kept it close, but I think there was a lot more we could have done. I wont blame the refs for the loss, because I feel every team in the league gets bad calls now and again, though I will say the reffing was horendous. 2 or 3 of the calls were reaterded. Game 4 will have me nervous. We can win and have the ball in our court the rest of the series, or lose, and it is anyones game.

I think it is a sensitve topic. Even when he wasn't stepping up earlier in the season, a lot of people were quik to pounce on anyone who spoke ill of Z. I think it lies in the fact that most see Z as our future. I respect that he has been out, and I wont put the weight of the world on his shoulders ... but I do want him to find his pre-injury game and dominate once again.

I understles frustration with guys like Bert. Sure I want him to play circa-02', and hopefully it is still to come. But the fact is he has the ideal combination of everything you want in a hockey player. You dont have a guy like him on the roster and not play him. We traded for him at the deadline (yes for very little ... i'm aware) for this very purpose. It is frustrating for fans, and I'm sure for Rex too, after having some quality games to be the odd man out. I don't think this season there is any chance of Babs puttin' Sammy aside for him ... But the point remains, if Bert can play, he is in! Haha, i nearly crapped myself in the first when the announcers screamed, What an Interception by Lilja!!! I was like, are you sure? It didnt deflect in? But yeah, good on him, he did have a decently solid outing.

Thats the most depressing post of the day. Totally sucks losing this one. They came out flying as we all knew they would. We weren't great in the first, but we weren't bad either. We weathered the storm and played decent the rest of the game. I definatley see some room for improvement ... especially from a select few players. (dont need to mention those names) For the rest ... Bert really needs to play with an edge. I know it is hard for him with everything around him, but when he is on, he is unstoppable. Z is coming around. We can't expect him to be the way he was in Feb, but I am hoping he will be near there before the series is out. I woulda like Dom to steal 1 of the goals away from them, though, he will have plenty of opportunities to come for him to do that. How bout' 16-1?

I like Lang, tend to think he had some what of a bad period. But holy s*** ... he has one of the most intimidating stances and stairs. Everytime he stands glaring, I nearly crap my pants. Like last game when he staired down Kipper.
