really? i dont know why, but that just seems crazy.

What is the max salary possible in the Swedish Elite league? Or Russia? Or any of the European leagues? Is the draw to the NHL based on it being the best league? Because I would think unless this guy is going to be a 100+ point player, and garner top 10 salary, the money would probably be better for him in Europe where the league would like to hold on to the top talents they have. Just a thought.

Hasek in #4 of the goalies lsit!?!?! Dont get me wrong, I love Dom. When I play street hockey, I still do this day call myself the Dominator. But Dom is all but done. I understand his talent is up there amongst the best, but at his age and in the setting, the demand for him couldn't be enough to put him at #4.

I don't really care too much about the Philly Mon series. Don't really like either team, I would just like the winner of that round, to be able to push the Pens to atleast 6 games. And maybe beat them up a little. SJS Dallas ... I just can't believe San Jose is in this position, down 3-0. I'd like to think San Jose will take this one, but from what they have shown this series ... cant say.

Sorry, I jumped to conclusions, it is late, forgive me. I do disagree with this current issue. It is rediculous. No question about it, things like this are important .. my above rant more refered to the concepts of commercials, jerseys, equipment, teams, players, etc. But as far as team traditions like this, well, it is obviously ridiculous.

Dont get me wrong, I dont want to be skating on slanted rinks with moon rings around our legs and s*** ... but honestly, Evolution of sport. Get over it!!! If the sport didnt evolve, then take a look at a hockey picture from 1917 and tell me you would still be a diehard hockey fan. I love hockey to death, but if thats the game I was watching, I think I would pass. Aspects of hockey history are great. The dynasties of old ... the classic rivalries, the legendary names ... but I truly, 100% believe that the game is at the highest quality it has every been.

That would be somewhat odd on Brodeurs part, because I dont know who caught it, but when the first 'screening' incident actually happened, in the post game interview, Brodeur wasn't opposed to Avery's actions. Marty actually said he was just trying to screen me, As long as he doesnt touch me. So this thing has been blown far outta proportion.

Good for Ozzie. I'm indifferant here. I hope that if/when Dom is needed, he is simply ready to go. In other words, he doesn't let this situation rattle him. Maybe the goalie change will help, but we need our boys up front to step up. The 'D' have to be the old Red Wings and shut down, and we need our boys up front to score. Dats has a few, it has to continue, and we need stronger efforts, and more dominance from Z, Franz, and Cleary. The rest of the supporting cast all have to strongly play their rolls to. True, one man may be able to steal a game, even change the tone ... but it will take an entire team firing on all cylinders to win the cup.

Is that real? I've generally fallin more on side of the Avery-haters than anything. But when I saw that happen, and the aftermath, I very much took Avery's side.
