Wow, I've been doing a lot more lurking than posting as of late, but I have to comment on the 'Zetterberg show' tonight. I really think that Hank and Pavel must compare notes at the end of the game each night. That breakaway reminded me of the "wait, how the F**k " change in direction from the infamous Datsyuk goal on Turco. "Oh yeah? watch this..." The best part is that Hank getting on a hot streak will likely get Pasha going too. It's a wonderful thing to have two players of this caliber working off one another. I think both of them could be flashier, but they came into the league to a team run by an incredible scorer that gave up the statistics for good of the team. Hell, nevermind me, I'm babbling drunkenly I suppose, but right now I would rather get excited about the possibilities with this team than focus on the reasons we might lose...

Ahh, It makes sense now... For a second it sounded like we would stay in that spam checkgroup and would effectively have a 1 post per week minimum

Man, those announcers were getting me really steamed.. what the hell was all that "Poor Ville" nonsense? Oh, the poor guy, let's feel sorry for him because he boarded some-one with his elbow up and obviously feels soooo bad about it with that grin on his face afterward. Grr, morons. -
Thanks! Its 465 for me!

Well, here's the west coast. I'm not getting the game either Channel guide says it is on, and I don't see any hockey on anywhere else so I don't see how it could be blacked out... wierd

I voted a hearty YES. I am not much for the kind of tough guy arms race that has the Scott Parkers of the world on the ice, (let's not forget that Probie actually could play hockey). But I think that having some serious back-up would change the complexion of this team. I think it's pretty ridiculous to expect Shanny to be the closest thing to a heavyweight we have. Although I think a lot of people forget how well he's held his own in the past ( not fair to call some-one who went toe to toe with Probie a ***** really), he's not the youngest anymore. I'm rambling after all these beers, but having at least a half assed heavy would allow everyone else on the team to defend themselves without having to worry about dealing with the other teams tough guy...

Just curious, for those of you who might know more. I've had no chance to get any impression of his play, but the reports sounded interesting. Just curious why he has fallen somewhat off the radar so to speak. Edit: BTW It's nice to see this part of the forums in action again.

I would not mind seeing a few minutes of Big Snake over the course of the season. Then again maybe I'm just partial having had him on my current home-town Portland Winterhawks a while back
