And how exactly two fighters fighting would prevent hits on star players? It is usually not the fighters doing the hitting and more likely than not they would not answer the call to fight. I think fear of retaliation against your team's star players does a lot more to protect said star players than fighting. I guess it is a matter of personal taste, I prefer to see team, which makes the opponent look silly rather trying to beat them to a pulp.

What does Hossa need protection for? Give me an example when there should have been a fight because of something questionable done to Hossa?

I would like Wings to have a blowout victory once in a while. I don't think they had one this year.

Since I picked him for my fantasy team. I am sure it has to be the reason. On a serious note he might be this year's Cheechoo for Sharks.

I guess I got used to him not making any mistakes. I have to say that his PP unit did not look in sync so far.

I cannot see players being able to negotiate a better deal under this economic conditions. It might be better to take the option and wait until things get better before trying to change CBA.

I am not saying it is going to fix anything. I just having selfish interest to see them play together. Might be fun to watch.

But it should not mask it from the coaching stuff. Puck being stolen from Datsyuk is a clear sign if they still needed one. Last year Wings had a problem with slow starts and trying to catch-up in the third. This year it is the other way around. I would like to see Datsyuk-Zetterberg-Hossa line once in a while, just to see what they can do.
