There was nothing inevitable about that goal. It took several failed attempts to get the puck out of the zone before the goal was scored. It is not like Dats was the last man and Pens got one on one with Osgood.

Oh well, maybe this debacle will make them play against Sharks with more effort. Also Sharks are cleaner team, which should be easier for Detroit.

Defense was crap tonight.

Wings got to do something about penalties. And for a skilled team they sure miss a lot of passed and commit bunch of turnovers this year. I just hope it will pass as season goes on.

I looked through some Russian hockey news sites and haven't found any mentions of Radulov wanting to go back. His team was about to play Jagr's team so there was an interview with Radulov in some newspaper. Nothing about NHL or Nashville.

IMO, when they talk about tax-free money it just mean that contract is signed in terms of "take home pay" not gross value. Taxes are still being paid. I think Russia currently has 13%(?) flat tax.

Not sure how Preds can fight it. They can try to sue Radulov is US, which he will ignore. I do not believe they have any chance of winning a lawsuit against him it Russia. According to Radulov's interview contract with the russian team was signed prior to the new transfer agreement between NHL and KHL.

As long as he does not take penalties hitting people should not be a problem. If he hits like a gentleman (whatever it means) Dats should be considered for many more Lady Byng awards.

I might be wrong but it does not strike me as the greatest company to be a spokesperson for. Internet search startup sounds like a sure fire dead end.

There is time in a game when icing the puck is the right play. Last minute of the 3rd period was that time. I just hope Wings can recover after such loss. -
