LA Kings or Florida Panthers is a disappointment. I would have loved to have Feds go to Wings. But Holland is doing just fine. I would prefer team making playoff every year to satisfying fans desire for big trades.

Pavel should pass, not score. Lately when he scores it is usually the only Detroit goal.

The sad thing is that I do not believe that Detroit can come back in this game. Month ago if Wings were down in the third it was not a problem at all.

I just hope that once in a while Wings forward will not stop on half-board upon entering the zone and actually try to go to the net himself.

I am with you. When did a trade was a reason that some team had great playoff success? Lebda does suck a lot.

I am pretty sure he will not. IMHO, building a team, which is consistently good is more important than all-or-nothing try for the Cup (even if succeeds).

Homer has been pretty cold lately. Can't remember when was the last time he got a rebound around the net. Or it might be just general lack of rebounds.

I don't think Pavel plays poorly. He plays his usual game. That is the great thing about him. He is a very consistent player.

Canucks do not pay any respect to our defense in offensive zone. Wings should try to use it.

Yes, at least new guys pay enough attention not to make stupid mistakes. Oh, Lebda is too slow, the net was open.

Not sure about Ericsson, but with Osgood and Howard goaltending should not be an issue for next year.

I think forwards played fine. But a lot of Wings offense depends on defenseman. Typically whenever Detroit forward is in trouble playing back to the blue line is a safe play and shots from the point generate a lot of second chances. I think young D-men were quite nervous. Ericsson has a 100mph shot but I can't remember him using it much. And Ozzie was very good.
