I am just surprised that people still can't get over him leaving Wings for Anaheim. Also I have no idea if there is some bad blood between him and the team (but I doubt it, seems the fans are the ones holding the grudge). But as far as him not being good enough to be top 6 forward I have to disagree. Which forwards, outside of the first line, on the Wings roster are better? Last year Wings get Bertuzzi and people cheered.

Well, I did watch as many as I could (without missing the Wings) and he is not washed up. He is definitely got slower. His defensive play still quite good. As for the offense, it was ok when he played for Ducks. In Columbus his stats went down quite a bit, but I think some of it because he had to cover a lot for Columbus "young guns" Zherdev and Nash. From what I've seen neither of them played much defense at all. Also I think large chunk of last season Fedorov was playing as a defenseman. Having said that I always liked him as a Wing so I am all for bringing him back.

At the deadline Fedorov would cost less than half of his $6M. And I like the idea of him being a Wing again.

I really don't see Wild letting him go. He is big, cheap and well-liked by fans here.

I would love for Wings to trade for Feds. He is in the last year of his contract. And at 6mil Columbus should not ask much in return.
