Im sure babcock wanted them to get used to each other. After the injury to lidstrom I dont think u see them the rest of the preseason, maybe 1 more game. -

Unlike datsyuk since the wings are over the cap I dont think he can sign a new deal till the offseason. Please correct me if im wrong.

Luc had a pretty good 1st season in detroit 30 goals and 20 assists, his second season wasnt as good. That's why the redwings chose not to resign him

I dont see them breaking the bank for Franzen's contract. In a perfect world if they win the cup maybe datsyuk, zetterberg, and a few other vet's defer money too keep Hossa, and Hossa defer's some himself. Thats the only way I can see him staying.

Not if the cap goe sup again they might be able to. Look at it this way Franzen will get somehting but they wont have the break the bank to keep him, and hopefully Hank will defer some money and maybe some of the vet's too to keep Hossa around. Who knows till next offseason. But hell this season is gonna be a fun one.

Its a type o. Until they find out exactly what Hossa is wearing they just took his player pic, numbers and stats from NHL.com and ported over to their site. If u notice Maltby is still 18 too.

last I heard he was talking with the flyers but comcast sportsnet said that the flyers were looking for a long term and Shanahan didnt want that, plus they were pretty much capped out. Whats his deal will he sign somewhere or does he gracefully bow out of the NHL 50 goals shy of 700?
